Excellent little coffee shop on the westside of Zion Park Boulevard, 0.5 miles from the south entrance to Zion National Park. There is plenty of parking on the south side of the shop – you will see signs stating you have 20 minutes of free parking for the shop. There are tables just outside on the patio to sit back, enjoy your coffee and take the breathtaking views directly in front of you. We believe there is an indoor place to sit upstairs above the shop, but we are not 100% sure of that. Inside the actual coffee shop, it is extremely small, so you will have to take your coffee to go or sit outside under the covered patio. Besides coffee and lattes, the shop offers other beverages, blended drinks and some baked goods. The shop does have a restroom inside, just in case you need one. We think the prices are more than reasonable and worth it for the quality of the product. We were quite happy with our selections and would recommend this place to others. But what made this special was the people (staff), super friendly, funny, and willing to engage their customers in conversation, not just taking their orders and sending them on their way. Kudos to the two baristas we met on Wednesday this week (around 1130 hours), just wish we had gotten your names...

Canyon Coffee is a delightful gem tucked just outside the south entrance of Zion National Park—perfect for fueling up before tackling those stunning trails or unwinding after a day of desert adventures.

From the moment I stepped in, the vibe was warm and welcoming. I was greeted by friendly, passionate baristas who clearly know their craft—they roast only organic, fair-trade beans and serve up beautifully extracted espresso shots, with milk steamed to silky perfection. It’s clear they take their coffee seriously in the best possible way.

I sipped on a Lavender Maple Latte (uniquely lovely) while my friend reveled in a Coconut Mocha—both drinks were creative, balanced, and expertly executed. The pastries were just as impressive: fresh-baked goodies like a blueberry-peach scone and a gluten-free mixed-berry muffin were the perfect sweet touch.

The real standout is the setting—an adorable, rustic wooden building that opens onto a front patio with expansive views of Zion’s red-rock cliffs. It’s hard to beat sipping a well-crafted latte while staring into that canyon...

Canyon Coffee is a charming little gem nestled right outside Zion National Park. It’s the perfect stop before or after a hike — whether you’re gearing up for The Narrows or winding down from Angels Landing. The coffee is genuinely excellent: smooth, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. Their espresso drinks are especially good, and the staff is friendly and efficient, even during the morning rush.

The real standout is the outdoor seating area. It’s cozy and peaceful, with plenty of space to relax and soak in the incredible red rock views. Whether you’re sipping a latte under the morning sun or enjoying an afternoon cold brew in the shade, the atmosphere feels thoughtful and welcoming.

If you’re in the area and love good coffee with a side of natural beauty, Canyon...
