The worst thing ever when you loose the trust in business or people when you thought you can trust them. This place showed to me what I have always heard about dealerships and similar businesses like them. These businesses take advantage of SENIORS who get worried about their safety and agree on any thing they say, also citizens with accents as they are thinking that they canât understand how it works. They act like thieves who are trying all tricks to steal money claiming that the cars need repair or part replacement! PLEASE GET ATTENTION NOWâŚ.. I brought a used car to them in February 2024 So I agree âď¸ on all replacements or repairs I paid $1600 plus tax for things I swear to God I discovered later If I took the time to find an honest mechanic as I have now, I wonât ever spend more than $400 for what they did. This is unethical, and unprofessional behavior. This was fine to me I was looking for the safety for my son and we didnât have time to shop around. They had my name spelled wrong and by October my phone number was changed. Went again recently to do an oil change But they were not lucky, they set up a new account based on my name with the right spelling and new ph number. Guess what, They came up with highly recommended of some and ungently replacement for others. However, most of those I was 100 percent positive were done 5k miles before current reding and by manufacture recommendations itâs like every 50000 to 60000 miles . THAT MEANS::::::: They sent me a list of recommendations for replacement and repair with a fortune WITHOUT any INSPECTION đ I am a medical provider in charge with a Master degree of Business you canât trick me my dear because you notice the accent. They were so embarrassed when I faced them with the above facts but didnât say nothing else or even try to make it looks even better, and I think in the business world this was very stupid. God bless USA! You people obviously forgot that Customers bad reviews and complaints are very annoying to any business and affecting anyone reputation no matter what. I am sure This review will reach out to thousands of people in the next few months. God Bless America. I pray to safe with peace and blessings. I pray for you to stop this type of unethical behavior! Moreover, they were the only place we went to fix the car or do oil change and they mentioned something very simple was missing I told them it was from you then, youâre the one who lost them. After argument they promised to order them and call me to fix them in!!!!!!! Guess what 3 to 4 weeks later I called them whoever answered the phone was very rude with unacceptable way, he said we donât have any notice in the system for that matter, then talk to his manager and gave me appointment 2 weeks later didnât try to made it better again. The epic meaning of horrible customer service when I went 11:15 and I told them I will wait here walking around they didnât take the car in until 2:30 came to me 10 minutes later, and they were done. I waited 3 hours and half for 5 minutes job because they forgot to order the items and I noticed that someone went out with the company car to buy it, they shouldâve informed me but what a shame and careless employees for the 3rd time didnât try to make it better, the real rudeness was when they never told me about the delay because I wouldnât agree to wait more than 1 hour, never mentioned even in the end what was the reason for it , acting like my time is nothing to them. Very disappointing, very disrespectful people. But I wasnât their priority as it supposedly free thing for 5 minutes job or whatever planned to charge me for it would be nothing. Listen to the most ridiculous thing happened to me in my whole entire life. they sent me a message with agreement to sign to PAY for what was lost on previous 1600 dollars job, I was shocked but agreed and didnât say a word, because I decided to spread the word everywhere and let every single person in the area knows about this business! Again, I will...
Read moreAt best, Christian Brothers Automotive misled me in the work that was required, but from what I can tell, they were dishonest potentially selling me work that was not necessary. They claimed my brake fluid boiled from a mile test drive around the block. Brake fluid doesn't boil. The brake line is a closed system so how did water get in my brake lines for it to boil? No one I've talked to about this has ever heard of brake fluid boiling. Plus I drive 40+ miles a day and I never had an issue so it is quite amazing that they managed to get it to boil in one mile. They also claimed that the manufacturer would not honor the 24-month, 24,000 mile warranty on rotors and brake pads they had installed 9 months prior unless I had over 550 dollars worth of work done. Called the manufacturer after the fact and they insisted that is not the case. They provide a 24-month, 24,000 mile warranty no questions asked and it is up to the auto shop as to how they want to honor that. However, CBA insisted that it was the manufacturer that wouldn't honor the warranty if I didn't pay 550. When I asked CBA for a copy of the warranty, they would not produce it and just quoted the 24-month, 24,000 mile warranty with no strings. Christian Brothers also stated that calipers either work or they donât and that they donât periodically have issues. My calipers were looked at two days prior to the Christian Brothers work, and were deemed in good working condition by a different shop. If there was any issue at all with my calipers, it would have been financially beneficial for the other auto shop to say my calipers needed to be replaced. The other shop stated that calipers periodically stick and wear before they finally totally seize up, but my calipers were definitely not seized. The only reason I went back to CBA is because the other auto shop said the rotors and brake pads should still be under warranty and recommended I check back with CBA since they had done the initial work. Additionally, if the calipers are seized I would have felt a drag on the car and heard a noise...neither of these happened. So, we are left with two options: either there was actually no issue with my calipers and Christian Brothers Automotive sold me work that I did not need or they happened to catch the calipers at the rare instant when they had an issue and as an auto shop do not know that calipers can have periodic issues before finally seizing. The reports they provide sound great but they claim you "can't really see" the issue in the pictures. They also did not have in their notes that the rotors were warped 9 months ago even though it was stated in the receipt that I had kept and the work they charged me for. Additionally, their labor charge is 20-30% higher than more competent auto shops so save yourself the money and frustration and find someone more ethical. *In response to their comment - As stated in my review above...I specifically had another shop look at the car and they confirmed the calipers were able to fully actuate the calipers when Scott told me to my face that the calipers either fail or work, there is no in between. So either he lied or the calipers had not failed. Also as stated in my review above...I spoke directly to the parts supplier and they told me that they do not care what caused the damage...they will replace the pads and rotors under warranty. So either you are saying you personally chose not to or that you again lied about the suppliers policy. And...brake fluid...still...
Read moreI would be more honored to write a review for this business. I was in Tega Cay for business with my wife. I had been experiencing a noise and vibration in my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee for sometime. Had taken it to several mechanics over the Rock Hill and no one could diagnose the problem. Had just finished my business and was on my way home when my Jeep broke down right across the street from Christian Brothers Automotive. Some very people helped me push my vehicle to their parking lot. Many blessings to everyone that assisted me, all of you were true blessings and shining examples of true humanity and the American Spirit. The exterior of the company is very clean and professional, the staff that I immediately came in contact with were very kind, considerate and compassionate to my needs. Upon entering the office, the lobby was clean, professional and very attentive. Quick service in getting my information and getting a technician to examine my vehicle. It took the technician less than five minutes to find the problem with my my vehicle that several other mechanics overlooked even when it was upon a rack with a clear view. This not only shows the level of knowledge and experience of the technicians but also he was able to explain exactly what caused the problem to where the most inexperienced person could understand the root cause behind the breakdown. I then proceeded back to the office to obtain a price quote and approve the work to be done. The price for the was very reasonable. With only having one vehicle getting back home was major concern considering I had to go to pick my spouse up in a couple of hours from an appointment. I explained this to the office and much to my surprise they offered a shuttle service in which I would be able to pick up my spouse and be able to get back home. They allowed me wait in The comfort office and offered me a cold bottle of water which was greatly appreciated, most especially on such a hot day. The part was immediately ordered that day and arrived this morning. My vehicle was fixed by 3pm. In addition to bringing me and my wife home yesterday. They were nice enough to send the shuttle to home to pick me in order for me to retrieve my vehicle. When I arrived they showed me some areas of concern and do need to be repaired, some of them I was but there were some issues missed or just outright was fixed inappropriately. This instills great confidence in me knowing that Christian Brothers Automotive takes the extra steps to ensure the utmost respect for their customers and goes above and beyond in customer service and the meticulous care they take in working on your vehicle. I could not be happier with the work and my Jeep has never driven better. I highly recommend Christian Brothers Automotive. If you think you will get a better deal somewhere else that is fine but at least take that quote for a comparison with them. I will say this to anyone who is looking for cut rate mechanics or even these pricey Dealership technicians, I have dealt with both kinds and always ended up with the short end of the stick with what turned out to be inferior work. If you like quality at a very fair price with wonderful customer service. Then take your business to Christian...
