I wish I could give less then one star for my experience at hot topic was terrible. Every time I was getting something to grab and purchase one member of the staff kept harassing me like a child saying I couldn’t touch anything unless I asked him. It came to a point I felt like I was being toyed by the staff. One moment one member would bother me then another one would come to say are u ok. I felt like the hot topic staff just wanted to pick on someone I didn’t even get to enjoy to look at the whole store. I was so upset i just wanted to make a quick purchase and leave. Then after I left the same staff member that was harassing me stayed at the front of the store to gloat as I left. Tara and Ty are great employees, and made my experience phenomenal. I never shopped in Hot Topic before, and they made me want to come back regularly. I have been having issues finding clothes that I feel comfortable in, and the both of them helped me find shirts that not only fit well, but fit my vibe, and went out of their way to recommend designs I liked. The store was having a discount that day too, which made my total super cheap, so I got all my stuff at a low price- and I wear all my shirts, and my necklace more often than my expensive jewelry and clothes I've convinced myself I like that I've bought in the past. Like they got all the good stuff in here, but I shopped here once to get a Coon Funko Pop for the SDCC event, but with that one item there was no line but it took more than 5 minutes at the cashier because there was so much questions he asked. Like my change was like 21 cents and the cashier kept asking me (3 times) if I wanted to donate it to charity. Like I felt guilty when saying no, but repeating it plenty of times made me feel annoyed. I mean, I understand, but I'm the type of person who's in a rush. I need those 21 cents to spend on....
