I was on a mission to find the perfect engagement ring, and let me tell you, I knew NOTHING about rings. I hit up several big-name jewelers, and they were all a total letdown. No one even tried to educate me or dive into the details of what I might want.

But then, I walked into Holston Jewelers, a local gem, and met Michael and Kathy. These two are absolute rockstars! They took the time to teach me all about engagement rings, guiding me through every step with patience and expertise. They really got what I was looking for and helped me zero in on the perfect ring.

Cannot possibly say enough praise to this shop!

New to town, and I stopped in to help revive a watch that I'd tried to swap the battery on myself, that I wanted to wear to my wedding this weekend.

The man behind the counter (I should've gotten his name, but forgot!) who I assume is the owner threw a new battery in, set the date and time, and then closed the watch case, which I hadn't been able to do myself over the last few years... and then when I pulled out my wallet, said "don't worry about it" and smiled.

This small gesture of kindness absolutely blew my mind, and left such a positive, awesome note for me about this business, especially since it was my first experience.

I went there yesterday to order a gold cross and I did based on a book. However today I got an emergency and pick it up without checking on it. Got home and realized that cross isn’t the same size I ordered (it’s smaller) and also it is not solid so I will not be able to engrave on it. I have been calling and they do aren’t answering anymore and their answer system appears to be down. I will be back to return it and hopefully I will get my money back. Will keep...
