Walked in and joined a small line. No big deal…. Small price to pay for good food. Upon entering though the organization was non existent. No one was there to help filter people coming in and out. No one asked our names. No one had a list of people in line. All any of us saw was disgruntled employees who refused to speak to us…. That’s correct…. Would avoid speaking to any of us in line. Finally one of the women in line with us decided to go to one of the servers behind the counter and he simple pointed back to the line and said you have to wait in line. Needless to say… the vibes were majorly off. Most of were here enjoying to spooky fall vibes of the area, going on tours and having fun with people we love… walking into this truly slammed the start of the day down. We finally got seated and waiting for another 10 minutes to be spoken to. The waiting took the order of the person literally sharing the table with us and didn’t even acknowledge us. Thankfully the other patrons of the restaurant were trying to make things light with each other but I have never felt so uncomfortable at a restaurant. It was like sitting outside the principals office not knowing what you did wrong but feeling like he was going to yell when you finally saw him.
I Do not recommend this place…. Maybe it’s post pandemic lack of staff…. Hopefully they can get back to a...

Our 2nd visit did not disappoint. Highlights included Turkish Eggs, Corned-Beet Hash, and a delicious cup of coffee. The Turkish Eggs were an unfamiliar but delightful experience. Perfectly poached custardy Eggs nested in a dish of savory garlic-lemon yogurt, then drizzled with olive oil and a scattering of fresh chives. Served with toast for dipping and scooping. This may be my favorite breakfast dish. I can't wait to make my version at home
We dined outside as the weather was perfect. We took a delicious scone to go that made for a perfect afternoon treat.
What a charming breakfast and lunch spot with a wonderfully creative menu. They offer the usual morning favorites as well as fresh twists on some soon to be new favorites.
Our breakfast choices did not disappoint. We enjoyed: Corned-Beet Hash with Over Easy Fried Eggs, which knocked our socks off.
The Poached Eggs over Creamy Parmesan Polenta. A total homerun with perfectly poached eggs that delivered the sexy saucy yolks when broken open.
The dining room is warm and cozy. The staff is professional and attentive.
They also deliver a delicious cup of coffee and pots of tea.
The only disappointment is that we live 100 miles away outside Philadelphia.
But we...
Read moreAbsolutely PATHETIC; not just their food but also their response to my shredding review. They respond by quoting a 5 star review someone else left (or they wrote themselves, who knows?)
It appears I'm just piling on to a long list of one star reviews, I only wish I could give it negative stars.
Simply put, it was the worst breakfast I've had in memory. I literally can't remember when I had a worse breakfast.
Let's start with the price tag, $30.49, STICKER SHOCK when I got the bill. Here's what I ordered: 1 - A Belgian Waffle: only it wasn't a Belgian waffle it was a regular waffle and I could swear it was a overcooked Kellogg's Eggo; cold, crumbly and crunchy ... just what everyone looks for in a waffle (heavy on the sarcasm). 2 - Bacon: which was cold and hard and must have been cooked in a microwave 2-3 days in advance. I ask you, what bacon has a old 'porkie' flavor to it???? 3 - Coffee - meh, it wasn't the worst I've had but it pretty much sucked too. Add in a Tarrytown tax and a 20% gratuity (are you friggin' kidding me!?!?) and there's how you get to $30.49 ... for ... ONE ... person.
Needless to say, in my opinion, avoid this place, it was awful, horrible, dreadful, horrific... truly,...
