Awful Customer Service. Several orders have been wrong and there is always a problem to either get the correct food or a refund. The staff are rude and unattentive. No matter how many times you repeat your order or ask the staff to repeat it, MULTIPLE orders I've received have been wrong. I continued to give this place a shot because I like supporting small, local businesses. I placed a small order last Sunday - a garden salad and a wrap - and it was over $32 dollars. Not only was it extremely expensive, it took an hour to arrive and was completely WRONG!!! Not to mention the delivery driver fought with me about his tip which I added on my CC (he refused to hand me the bag of food until he called the store to confirm I put his tip on the CC). I immediately called the store and was told they could bring me new food but I would have to wait another hour for it. That was unacceptable in my opinion (I am located less than 2 miles away) so I asked for a refund. They then proceeded to tell me that the driver was COMING BACK TO PICK UP THE FOOD if I wanted a refund. UNBELIEVABLE, especially during Covid!!! What would they have done with the returned food?!? I asked to speak with the owner who conveniently was not around. Two days later I received a call from the owner. TWO DAYS LATER! After a round of phone tag, I see the owner took it upon himself to charge my credit card for the awful food that no one ate. Unfortunately, this place has left me no choice - I will not be back and neither will my friends and family. Trust me, don't waste your time or money!!!!
**UPDATE: So the owner came on here to reply and say I left a "rant review that was only 10% accurate" (see his response below). And this my friends is proof of what you will get dealing with this establishment run by this person. BEWARE!!! Instead of asking me about the delivery driver/tip situation and asking his staff if they received a call from the delivery driver that day regarding "collecting cash" from me, he says that I am being dishonest. He says I never mentioned it because, as I CLEARLY state above, he didn't call me for 2 days, we played phone tag, and by his own words - told his staff tonight he would call me back, refusing to take my phone call because they were "very busy". PATHETIC!!! I have spent hundreds of dollars at this establishment and this is the response from the owner. In black and white for you all to see. Like I said, save your time and money!! Ordered two sandwiches for delivery and after 35 minutes my fiancé noticed a car outside with a delivery bag, no calls came through so he went outside, maybe the number was lost? Stood outside for five minutes on a well lit porch.. waved.. nothing. Just watched as the man sat on his phone, I called him in as it’s probably someone parked.. not our food and knocking to ask is WEIRD. Twenty minutes later and we call to inquire our food? Oh, it was delivered? Nobody was ever here? We explain the situation and were assured that fresh sandwiches would be made and delivered ASAP. Nope, we received the same 90 minute old sandwiches, now reheated. Classic. Maybe find a delivery driver that isn’t stealing payroll in front of our house? Or a night manager(?) that can handle making the right call instead of the easy call? Thanks.
AN UPDATE As a family we decided to give Main st another chance and were unfortunately disappointed again. It's painfully clear that these people simply don't care. Our order tonight included two cheese steaks, both specified as no onion... only to come home after enduring pick up on main st to discover extra onion on both. An unfortunate way to discover that my 13 year old is adaptable and kind to unexpected situations. Read moreSo an “estimated delivery time of 5:15-5:25” means possibly more than 30 minutes later? I have ordered from this place a few times and they have been on the money when it comes to their ‘estimated delivery time’. But when they’re not, it’s a guessing game. The food is good for a pizza shop. I dreaded when I saw the place was sold, but it seems to be about as good as the former owners. And I appreciated the free delivery. But what is the point of free delivery - and pre-tipping - when they can’t deliver as promised? I am now over 30 minutes wait time on a delivery with 3 hangry people. Please end our misery.
