When I walked into the store, the workers immediately became pushy, insisting I try things on. I agreed, but they started picking out additional items for me on top of what I had already chosen.

The dressing rooms don’t have mirrors inside, so you’re forced to step out into the open area to see yourself—while the employees stand there watching and judging your outfit. When I tried on a pair of pants and a top I really loved, I noticed the pants were cropped but I wanted them to reach my feet. When I mentioned this, the tall blonde employee (working August 8th, 2025) asked in a rude tone, “Are those our pants?” I told her yes, and she asked if I wanted a different style. I said yes and asked her to check the size on the ones I was wearing and bring the same size in a longer style.

Instead, she said, “Actually, I think we’re going to size up so it’s not as tight,” which was incredibly humiliating. She then brought multiple other styles I didn’t ask for and commented that she chose a pair without a front seam because, after looking me up and down, she felt I “just have bigger… hips”. I was so embarrassed and uncomfortable that I left without buying anything.

Came here today 8/18 to do some back to school shopping. As I was browsing I felt someone staring at me, when I turned around sure enough I see two employees (curly brown hair & blonde hair) dying laughing at me I went to go try on my items and the same said duo followed me to the dressing room. I felt super uncomfortable so I just proceeded to checkout without seeing if anything fit. Now as Im leaving, the girls follow me to the door still laughing. Aritzia is known for hiring bullies for employees, never knew it was this bad. I will not be coming back to blow money on clothes at this Aritzia location anymore when I could just go a few steps over to Macy's (their clothes are better quality & the staff is a lot nicer!!!) Sam and Ava were a great help today. Sam helped me looked for items and tried her best to stay with me despite the rush throughout my visit, which as a retail employee I appreciated a lot. The service was spectacular up until checkout, specifically referring to the girls at the registers. The Asian girl with the mask and Caucasian girl made a face when I asked for a top to be cleaned of a makeup stain. Didn’t even ask for an extra discount to avoid being a difficult guest. They gave my sisters and I a nasty attitude and put the top away before I could see if they cleaned it properly. I’d expect better service considering us being guests spending over $500 in their store.
