Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Today, I found myself at chick fil A in commack NY—an unusual choice for me, as I’m not a big fan of fast food. But given the circumstances at work, I had little option. What caught my attention right away was how impeccably clean the place was.

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, lemonade, and waffle fries, opting to dine in. The food was solid—fresh, well-prepared, and enjoyable. But what truly impressed me was the exceptional service. At one point, an attendant returned to my table, kindly taking away my basket and offering me a refill on my lemonade. Even when I initially declined, they insisted I take it with me—a level of attentiveness that stood out.

Horrible experience!! I just spent $49 and they got my order wrong. I realize this after getting across the food court and setting up my two small children to eat. I make my way back over and explain that my order was wrong. The employee brings the issue to a manager (they gave me chips Instead of Mac and cheese as the kids side) the manager takes one look at me and says that she will give me the correct side but I need to bring back the incorrect side. I am insulted that this side which probably costs 25 cents needs to now be retrieved from my table and brought back to the cashier. As if I am trying to get something for free. This is ridiculous. I spend a lot of money at chic FIL A and this is my first bad experience. I will not be back!! The manager on duty right now just cost...
