Bad customer service. Staff Doesn’t know manners and how to interact with customers. they need to stop hiring miserable looking staff full of attitude!
Today was a terrible experience because my mom and I were targeted for wearing a scarf. As we approached the cashier she didn’t greet us, but instead Rudely asked if we want a bag. As she scanned everything she was giving my mother and I dirty looks. She told us our total and I asked to leave my number for a return, she said no with a dirty look on her face and said I can do it once the transaction is complete. A number is always left before the transaction is complete so at this point I knew she might be a new employee who didn’t know what she was doing, but I didn’t say anything. We also had an exchange but in a JC penny bag. As I was taking the dress out she said “yall got the Receipts cuz this obviously in not a Burlington bag” I told her yes we have the receipt and tags are on the clothes, please give us a min to give u the receipt. At this point she started screaming at us and asked another employee to help us because she can’t.she threw the return item across. The supervisor Natalie came over asks us what happened and her employee is still standing there accusing us of trying to exchange clothes from JC penny. I told the supervisor she’s misbehaving as a supervisor ur witnessing it all ur employee is causing us because of the JC penny bag, but is not paying attention to the tags and receipt. The supervisor didn’t ask her employee to walk away or to help someone else, instead they both ganged up on me. Not to mention this supervisor heard it all from the beginning because she was standing a register away when all this was going on. The employee shouldn’t be interacting with customers the way she did. She was obviously racist and didn’t care for what she was doing. There was no accountability or fear even thought a supervisor was there because she knew the supervisor would be on her side and also handle this situation very poorly. To be out shopping and be targeted like this is unacceptable

Spent 225$ so I had quite a few bags (and alone) then was yelled at for trying to take the cart outside like I was a thief! I said I can’t carry all this. Lady who helped pick out the least rattly cart at beginning of visit - said “do what you gotta do” when I said he didn’t give me enough bags to carry to my vehicle. She was on her phone- I guess customer service isn’t a thing here. If bags didn’t rip, spilling brand new clothes for Christmas on floor & porcelain item I just bought broke. Frankly, the one in Greece Ridge always looks like they're going out of business. looks unorganized and empty. This Burlington is seriously the only one you should go to.
