Working with Madeline from Full of Surprizes was one of the most exciting and fulfilling experiences for my family. As we were saying goodbye to our family home filled with so many memories and personal belongings and transitioning to a downsizing arrangement, we needed help selling the majority of what filled our home. In came Madeline, ready to conquer no small task.

Madeline came in to analyze our 8,000+ square foot home, and reviewed what would be valuable to her clientele, and let me tell you, it was a lot. Madeline worked for 3 whole days to organize the items for our estate sale auction. She took representative photos and provide accurate descriptions for over 350 items. She is one of the hardest workers I have ever seen.

Once the week long auction kicked off, Madeline consistently calmed our nerves with how things would go. There were times in the beginning we had our doubts, we thought items that were so meaningful to us were being undervalued, but she reassured us that once we were nearing the end of the auction, things would skyrocket. She definitely knows her business and she was right! Everything in the sale went, except for our kitchen table, which actually worked in our favor because we would have had no place to eat in our new home. She completely exceeded our expectations.

Not only was the estate sale auction a success, the pickup for all of the lots was seamless. Madeline and her team organized all of the lots in such a strategic way that was so fun to watch! We lived on a private road that is hard to find, and is a single lane road that is even harder to navigate with a lot of people. Each lot winner had a scheduled pick up time and was provided excellent instructions to find our home. Over the two days, every winner picked up their items and it was a flawless execution given the prep Madeline and her team did to organize the sale.

I am so very grateful to Madeline and Full of Surprizes for what they achieved through our estate sale auction. There is no way I would have been able to handle something like this on my own. She and her team were so capable, I didn’t even have to do anything throughout the whole process. I will recommend Madeline time and time again to friends and family who are in need of selling through an estate sale, or interested in participating in the auction. As one of Long Island's better-known sellers on the Auction Ninja platform, we've bought quite a few items from Full of Surprizes' sales. Above and beyond all else, you want to be able to trust the seller that their listings are accurate and thorough.

You must count on the seller to be familiar with brands, styles, vintage and value. In one sale there can be a century-old stoneware crock with a rich history and no interested bidders, followed by a "I have no clue what this is or what it does" thingamajig, next to a Weber BBQ grill with buyers thinking they've just found the ultimate burger maker and bidding close to retail for it.

You expect the photos to properly depict what the item looks like (especially any flaws or other things that affect the value) and equally important - you want to have a good feeling about the people who operate the sales. Granted, you're not marrying them, but trust is everything and there are some very shady sellers in our Long Island community.

Fortunately, working with Full of Surprizes isn't... well... Full of Surprizes!

On the one occasion I had a concern about a listing, Brian and I had a great conversation and he answered 100% of my questions honestly and fully. With that information, I decided that item wasn't what I was looking for, and in a matter of minutes, our conversation made me that much more confident in their integrity and knowledge.

The next time I click through a Full of Surprizes online sale or auction, I know can trust the photos and the item descriptions.

Stumbled upon Madeline and her team late one hot Saturday afternoon. Even though it was 3:30 and the sale was over at 4, her team was helpful, still had a sence of humor, and treated me with the utmost respect (although I was dressed like a slob to be honest).

Madeline is an absolute pleasure to do business with and She has a fantastic team she works with. One lady on her team in particular (I wish I knew her name) was great to work with and although they were set to close, helped me make a wonderful purchase and stunning addition to my dining room.

The quality of the merchandise at this sale far exceedes the merchandise peddled by other estate sale organizers on Long Island. These were exceptional items and the prices asked were fair. Everything was clearly marked with the price, and laid out for easy access. In addition, the items were clean.

I have been to other Long Island firms tag sales, that have a rude and disintented staff. THIS IS FAR FROM THE CASE WITH MADELINE AND HER TEAM. One member of her team actually offered to pack my one large item, and another opened the front door to help me out.

Overall a fantastic experience, a truly beautilful purchase, and I will go back for their next sale.
