Critters — Local services in Town of North Elba

I loved this place because they had a lot of cool stuff. I walked in - I said - I know what this place is! I have fallen in love with Lake Placed, and YOU are IT! They gladly accepted my huge huge sale and were very nice to me! Fortunately, they didn't badmouth me in french because my mom was Quebecois AND ALSO I took up to Honors French 5 in High School AND ALSO my BA from Rutgers College (New Brunswick) was in Linguistics, Mathematics, and Psychology. So, I guess - what I am saying is:

I am credentialed - up the wazoo... to mess with these women... if they are going to speak Quebecois... in friggin Lake Placid... ABOUT the customers THAT are TRYING to be NICE to the locals and BUY from them because it ISN'T snowing and wouldn't it be nice to help them out by buying a few things for my NJ friends and family?

I do hope that didn't happen outside of my earshot. I really enjoyed the shop and the chats we had! Remember - not everyone is from the Adirondacks! Some have Bachelor's degrees and some (Olympics, Canada, Montreal, NYC - all nearby!) have Masters PhD PsyD MD's etc... and they get insulted with their wallets and reviews if they suspect that you're...

Anyway I am so far pleased with MY items. Especially some of the sweatshirts - they are just really solid and rugged. That's what I wanted and needed. Some pullover sweatshirts for my stay. It was COLD in Lake Placid and I should have counted on that! So I bought a few things from you and I wanted them to say certain things. I'm extremely late on this review - two years almost actually! Item specific review, as I only purchased one thing, however, they have several types of crystals, so account for those products as well.

I purchased their obsidian (it may have been labelled obsidian arrowhead) in 2021 on vacation. This whole time I've been skeptical of it, as it was purchased in a known tourist town. Thrilled to report today that I've done a few of the usual tests you'd use to verify authenticity of any rock, and there is no knife scratch, it more than fits the description of obsidian, and for those into this aspect - the energy is incredible.

Highly recommend, and the staff were amazing as well! Very polite, and more than happy to assist with any questions or concerns. Definitely give Critters a stop if...

This place is super cute. They had sale tshirts in the front, all kinda of awesome apparel on the walls. I found a vintage tshirt print and this amazing mug which im obsessed with. I picked it up thinking its wood which is hot to handle with hot liquid inside. Its ceramic. Had to buy. The older lady there was pleasant and helping everyone. Super cute store. Visit if you...
