Absolutely horrible. Walked in and wandered upstairs to see the beers with wife and two teenage boys. Literally no staff in sight. Bathroom is marked well - we used them and when we walked out there was an older lady who introduced herself to us by stating, "bathrooms are for customers only." she wasn't being polite or friendly, but I figured I would just let it go. My response was, well that's lucky because we are looking to have a few beers. She didn't respond. I let her know it's out first time here, and asked how it worked. She explained, just are short as possible, a tab is required, then you get an access card for the taps. important if you go here, the cards take time to transact between each pour. She didn't cover that until we couldn't get the second beer to pour. My wife poured first, no issues. I poured mine (in line of sight of the woman with zero other customers in the building), it was was about 3/4 foam. Being that she watched me, I asked, what am I to do if it's all foam? The response... "that's not my problem if you pour it wrong. You need to tilt the glass." I replied, ma'am, I have several taps at home, you just watched me tip my glass, it's all foam." Her response, "that's not my problem you did it wrong." she continues to explain it's foamy because I didn't tilt my glass. I replied, "ma'am, you watched me pour the glass, I tilted it. I have several taps at home. Excessive foam can be caused by many things, including dirty tap lines, warm beer lines, dirty glasses, etc." she states, "the beer lines are clean, it's not my problem that you poured it wrong."
I an attempt to reset and save it, I asked, "ma'am, it seems like I'm annoying you, I don't understand what I've done wrong?" she responds, " you aren't annoying me, I just got here. It's not my problem." I don't see how the start of her shift affects her poor attidue but here we are... I looked at my wife and kids, told the teenagers to exit with me and encouraged my wife to finish her beer and we'll meet up with her later. I asked the lady to cash me out, left the beer without even tasting. I told her she was obnoxious and I would not be leaving a tip. This is the most horrendous service I have encountered in my life. She refused to answer if this was her establishment or share her name. My wife followed me out the door.
I cannot recommend more highly for friends and family, spend your money elsewhere, or if you have your eyes on a beer on tap or game on the floor... consider looking for staff and feeling it out. She should be fired based on the single interaction I encountered. For $12, I learned it will be closed within the year. Perhaps she's truly a genius and her goal is to push people away so she has no work? Can't really come up with another reason for this nonsense.
If you have anything similar, share your experience so others can have a better time. LP is a beautiful place and this crap ruined a nice family afternoon. I set my beer on the counter...

When you swipe the card it sometimes reads as an error, but still takes your credits. My wife swiped 3 times until it worked. This happened shortly after arrival, so I was able to check our credits and do the math.
I approached the employee and explained what had happened and requested the credits be restored to our card. Instead of responding in a helpful manner, she said "I can't do that. Why would you keep swiping?" There is no way of seeing that you're losing the credits, so of course you'd try swiping again. I tried to explain this to her, but she insisted we were in the wrong and should have complained after the initial swipe. I asked for a phone number to call a manager or the owner multiple times but she would not provide one. I asked her if this was the first time this ever happened to anyone and she avoided the question. I asked her again and she said "most people make the request after they get the error code once." So, this issue happens frequently. My guess is most people don't even realize they're being charged when this "error" happens. Finally she conceded that she could swipe an employee card to let us play a game. I told her that's what she should have said from the beginning...what's the difference whether she puts credits on our card or swiped it on a game so we can play? She asked what game I wanted to play and I told her I didn't really want to play any games there anymore, but she could ask my family. She didn't like this comment and told me to leave. I told her I would gladly leave if we were refunded. She said she was calling the police. I told her to go ahead and walked away from her. The police came. I left. This is the first time I've ever had the police called on me in my life.
This lady took what was an easy and no-cost fix over a couple of dollars and escalated to the point where the police were called. "I'm sorry. That happens with our machines sometimes. Id be happy to swipe my employee card for you." Is the way she should have responded.
I'd love to hear from the...
Read moreThe most frustrating thing about this arcade is that, if you walk around, you'll see each game has a different credit cost. It ranges between 4-8 credits, didn't see anything more expensive than that but I didn't check every machine.
When you go to the ticket machine, directly inside the door, it gives you a range of prices starting at $10 and up, even a seemingly customizable one for credits... but does not tell you how much you are getting in credits until you actually pay for it. So if I pay $10 in credits how many credits do I get? I don't find out until I finalize the payment. Just a suggestion to maybe alter that on the machine, if possible so that people can see how many credits they get per payment option, BEFORE they pay for. Cash, or card.
Ticket counter has some minor prizes, but nothing noteworthy, other than the Rainbow Gummi candy, that I just so happened to see when I was at Family Dollar today for $2-3. Some small brand-name Pokemon merch, if you're into that.
No staff downstairs ANYWHERE or at the ticket counter. Second floor is up through a side door, very rundown appearance and literal holes in the walls. I would have been afraid to even go through that door if I'd been alone.
Second floor has a tap-to-pay beer wall and maybe 5-6 game machines. Mostly a seating area. Counter's all the way in the back on the left. There were one or two staff members at the counter, but they didn't make any type of effort to speak to us and barely acknowledged our presence. We tested out one machine, the Pacman game, and only because there happened to be a free credit on it.
I don't know what I expected for a small town arcade, but...
