Ruthie's Run — Local services in Town of North Elba

My family and I come every year. As part of our tradition, my husband always buys me a pair of Regina fur boots. I was so excited for a white pair I saw in the window! We came in on 1/15/2024 at 10:30am and the saleswoman didn’t even lift her head from her computer to say hi or ask if we needed help with something. When I’m coming into any store, hello goes a long way. When I’m coming in to spend $450, not saying hello or offering to help us, caused me to walk away and purchase from another store online. Having an employee greet your customers is of the upmost importance. We might try again next year. Edit: You did NOT say hello when we walked in. That’s a fact. For 10+ years, I have visited Ruthie's Run to purchase my latest Dale of Norway sweater as they truly have the best selection that I've found. The sales person is always very patient with me as I go through the latest selections of what's available and color selections. Sometimes, I decided on a color not in stock and they are able to ship my selection. I've always had a wonderful shopping experience with each visit! Here's to life not getting in the way...

Used to be one of our favourite shops. We’ve visited many times, had a great selection of Dale of Norway and Pendleton. Just returned and the store is a mess and the desk help doesn’t even acknowledge your presence. The quality of merchandise has declined, with fewer Dale and zero Pendleton or cashmere.
