My husband and myself have made several purchases from perrywinkles over the years and have been very pleased with them and the quality of the products (watch/rings/necklace/earrings). The most recent purchase being an engagement ring. My husband spoke very highly of how attentive and helpful the staff were. They went above and beyond; brought in stones that matched his request of caret, cut, color (my “hints”)- he was able to pick out the perfect stone. I can say that the stone was gorgeous and the setting was perfect. They all did a great job. I absolutely loved it. However, they dropped the ball on explaining the types of metal. My husband knows I’m rough in life-I’m out in the woods, hiking, kayaking, cutting down trees, i sling boxes for a living…. He would have GLADLY spent the money up front had he known better. That’s another story- he didn’t know better and no one explained it. No fault zone, I suppose. But maybe given this experience, they might consider educating the next person. I wore the perfect ring for 5 weeks before I encountered an issue… with the stone being loose. The prong bent. I was upset with myself, but my husband assured me it will be fine and would work out. This was four weeks after we dropped off the ring for the initial repair. We spoke with two people working and they recommend upgrading to platinum prongs. They explained doing this upgrade would essentially ensure the stone wouldn’t come loose again; unless someone was malicious about it. We agreed to pay the upgrade fee and were told the ring would be back in two weeks. Sweet!!! I was happy to hear I wouldn’t have to worry about another loose stone; after all it’s an investment. I instantly felt better about “breaking” my brand new ring. Three weeks go by and I haven’t heard anything- I’m getting nervous, so I make a call. I’m told they don’t know anything yet and don’t have a good estimate on when it will be ready. I’m thinking to myself *okay, they must be busy* another 6 days go by (still no call) l, so I call again. This time they have news- they can’t fix my ring, but will “call back tomorrow after they have more information from the jeweler” … At this point I’m pretty upset about the whole situation-more so about the lack of communication. The next day comes and goes…. NO CALL again…. I’m frustrated. I asked my husband to handle the situation from here on out. My husband ended up going to the store in-person and spoke with a gentleman who said he called and left a message (nothing came through though). Later the gentleman claims he must have called the wrong number. *It was correct on the yellow slip and in their computer system*. Despite my “misfortunes”- my husband decided to let them try to make it right- mistakes do happen we are all just human after all. After hearing the news about the band not being able to be fixed- he decided to upgrade the whole band to platinum metal, since it’s stronger. They offered to buy the original band back (seemingly as a favor for the inconvenience). They discuss the price and timeline-another three weeks. Fingers crossed they call if/when it’s done. The whole situation has left a “bad taste in my mouth”. Jewelry is an expensive investment. A luxury that we work hard for. Perriwinkle’s communicated perfectly when they wanted us to spend the money but have dropped the ball getting it fixed. Now that we committed to spending another thousand dollars, maybe they will go back to communicating again. Time has passed . More frustration … we are going on week two since the last contact. My husband called twice and left messages both times ….. and no return calls. AGAIN. I’ve washed my hands of this business and have thrown away a few dollars shy of 10k. I shouldn’t forget to mention that they were “unable” to find my purchase due to “system changes”. That was a fun time too. I’m not sure what happened to this place, but it’s not good. I know Plattsburgh is small and options are limited. Please consider your options before spending your hard earned money here. At least I have a picture to look at

Visit the store during our one day trip at Burlington. Came here with my husband and his cousins! It was such a pleasure to meet Winkle, we were looking at some Rolex models, her knowledge and professionalism is absolutely impressive! She introduced us the watches that would match what we like and told us the story about it! Unfortunately they don't have any in stock at the moment, but Winkle still took time to talk to us and put us on the waiting list. At the end she helped us to pick a necklace for my newborn baby. Hopefully to get some news soon and go back to visit again!

Visit the store during our one day trip at Burlington. Came here with my husband and his cousins! It was such a pleasure to meet Winkle, we were looking at some Rolex models, her knowledge and professionalism is absolutely impressive! She introduced us the watches that would match what we like and told us the story about it! Unfortunately they don't have any in stock at the moment, but Winkle still took time to talk to us and put us on the waiting list. At the end she helped us to pick a necklace for my newborn baby. Hopefully to get some news soon and go back to visit again!

I cannot say enough about how kind, wonderful and knowledgeable ALL staff members are at Periwinkles , however I would like to speak of my experiences with Terry. When searching for an engagement ring she went out of her way to help guide us to the perfect ring with honesty and extreme care. First off please go to the store as the online pictures cannot truly capture the true beauty and exquisite design and craftsmanship of the Devotion rings. The diamonds truly are special with sparkle that cannot be described, you have to experience it for yourself. The settings are very substantial and solidly built so you can immediately appreciate the care taken. Then without pressure or judgement Terry educated us and truly was there to build my wedding set with our best interest in mind. She creates an atmosphere so that you never feel pressured and you always get her absolute honest opinion, and it's not guided by price but her personally wanting to provide you with the best. Since then I have been blessed with two pairs of beautiful earrings and Terry has again been there to help pick the best choices for me to be wonderfully surprised. I'd like to note that my husband met Terry on her way home outside the building, and she turned right back around and helped him choose the last pair of earring for my birthday without hesitation. She exceptionally professional but genuine and kind. We could not be more pleased. Thank you for all you do to assure that I will cherish these blessed gifts forever.

We have also been assisted by Jordan, Pam, and, Neva and all the same warm sentiments are felt towards them as well.

Jordan is just the sweetest and is always welcoming and eager to do anything to help. Very knowledgeable and offers honest opinions that are always appreciated.

Pam again has the most genuine, straight forward, no nonsense, no pitch approach. She's absolutely honest and never driven by the price of a piece which I appreciate greatly. You never feel pressured or as though you're being taken advantage of. She also has excellent taste and has guided me towards pieces that I will love forever.

Neva is nothing short of brilliant with her craftsmanship and design of jewelry. She has soldered my wedding set flawlessly and changed the studs on my earrings with care and timeliness. She's honest and extremely talented. I have enjoyed knowing that our investments are in very capable hands with her.

In short, Periwinkles will be our only jeweler. The jewelry is chosen and crafted with care, but the service from all the staff is exceptional and the follow-up care of your pieces is priceless. I feel that we are truly blessed to have them in our area. ...

I would like to start by saying that Perrywinkles has been my jewelry store of choice for well over 10 years. Perrywinkles has played a special part of many birthdays, anniversaries and holidays for my husband, family and I. So when we decided to create a custom ring for my 10 year wedding anniversary there was no hesitation on where to go. I had an anniversary band, wedding and engagement ring with diamonds to work with. I wanted something updated with a vintage feel. I also knew I wanted one single custom band. Hannah took the time to meet with me to get a feel for what I wanted. I sent many photos of things I liked. She drew a few different drawings and spent hours with me going over small details. It was very hard for me to envision what it would lie like from a flat paper drawing. She even cut her scaled drawing out and placed it on my finger so I could get a feel for the size and shape. She was so patient with me! After months of planning the time came to finalize details. I have worked with Pam for years and she knows me like a book. So I knew I could count on her to help. Over the years Pam has spent numerous hours with me and always gone the extra mile to make sure we are happy with our purchases. She knew I wanted extra sparkle and worked with Hannah to make sure I got it. The time came for the ring to arrive and I was nervous and excited. Nothing could prepare me for the end result. Hannah opened the box and I was almost brought to tears. I am smitten. It is everything I wanted and more. It is absolutely stunning...and sparkles! I also surprised my husband with a Breitling he had been eyeing for a long time as his gift. Such a gorgeous piece. I cannot thank Hannah, Pam and Lindsay enough for all of their help, time, patience and love. The ladies at the Plattsburgh store have become more like family. Thank you to Perrywinkles for being such a special part of our lives through the years and now our 10 Year Wedding Anniversary.

All the ladies in that store are very special. The quality of customer service and jewelry is always exceptional.
