Once or twice I let things slides at a big box store… but when it becomes the norm for a location I need to shout!! Went into the lumber area today between 11 and 12 noon, long after contractors have picked up supplies and you would think a good time for a DIY’er. This was a third occasion I couldn’t get down the 2x4 isle in the middle of the day. When I said something to the worker pulling the gates closed, he apologized but offered no assistance to fill my order first. This cost me time and gas to travel to the next night box. I will not be back to this location anyway, hard to get help, ask a question in tool department and making you feel like a thief buying a locked up power tool. I didn’t have time at the second store to complete my list, but got enough to keep working!! They lost between $100 to $200 with me today!! 😡

Wii shop so much at the home Depot we should own stock in it there's always so much to look at I could stay in there for days and still not see everything The store is amazing The staff is beyond helpful they're so knowledgeable if they don't know an answer to my question they will find it for me they never point me in a direction they always walk me there to make sure I find it they have an ownership mentality and you can still tell the staff is more like family than employees they value the quality of service they provide and treat every customer as if they were the only person in the store I can't say enough about them and I would recommend them to anyone amazing job we are lifetime customers

Typical do-it-yourself store. If you know what you're looking for, you can go right to it. If not, you're going to struggle to find someone to help you, but when you do find them, usually their knowledgeable and can't help you. But that's rare. All stores are going to self checkouts. So here most Home depots are all self checkout. They might have one person at the pro service that can check you out but every everything else is pretty much self-serve and it seems everything is going that way and we don't get a 1099 form to fill out. At the end of the year I come to stores for service not to do work. So this is one thing that I don't like

Recently, I had to go the local Home Depot store in order to return a small unused paint sample that was supposed to be a "color match".

Upon arrival I went to the help desk/return/pickup desk whereon I had to deal with an employee who simply stated persistently that returns for paint simply would not be accepted. Due to my insistence the employee then called the store manager in order to sort out the situation, and things only got worse from that point on.

The manager used the same pointless talking points indicating that onto the small paint container it was stated that it is non-returnable. Well, it also says on the paint container that it is a "color match" (which clear this one was not). Subsequently, the manager came up with the most absurd arguments one can possibly imagine, like implying to ask if I did not know the paint color (supposed memorized it) as if the differences between the hundreds of slightly different tones and gradients of white would equate to the difference between red and yellow and thus would be easily identifiable by simply memorizing and later identifying all possible intangible nuances of white from one's memory.

After about 15 minutes of that non-sensical situation, I indicated that in case a refund was not issued (I am talking about $5) one would file a complaint against Home Depot (Reynoldsburg, OH) about that incident and concomitantly file a complaint with credit card company in order to receive a refund.

Eventually the manager of the store conceded and issue a store credit on the amount of $5 -- which I spent right away since I have no intention to ever return to a Home Depot store again.

That was truly one of the most obnoxious and obtuse experiences I have ever hand in any retail setting. Normally, I spend thousands of dollars per year in home improvement stores; but most certainly will never spend even a dime at Home Depot again.

ADDENDUM: Note I do painting with some regularity and have had "color match" paints that were not a close enough reproduction of the original paint bought at another stores in the past. At Lowes, for instance, they instantly issued a refund for the paint that was not a proper match.

It is already bad enough having to waste one's time and money going to a store to buy a "color match" paint sample and then finding out that it was not what it was supposed to be. Subsequently having to spend even more time and money going back to the same store in order to obtain refund or an actual color match paint issued... After all that unnecessary spent of time and money (without any type of adequate compensation), the fact one still has to deal with that horrible ordeal is by no means acceptable.

In an ideal and just situation Home Depot should not only accept the item instantly and relay proper apologies for their incompetence in providing a product as described, but also subsequently provide one with proper monetary compensation for the time and money that one had to spend due to their...

Zero Stars! I will NEVER shop at Home Depot again as long as I live! I placed an online order to pick up curbside and it all seemed fine until I went to get my stuff. I checked in via the link they sent and waited approximately 45 minutes till I tried to check in again via the info on the parking spot sign. Some other customers came and parked in the pick up spot and waited also, they finally went in. Employees came and went right past my vehicle so they knew people were waiting out there for pick up. I had my 3 dogs that I didn't want to leave alone, so I waited some more and called the store, which got me absolutely nowhere. After a full hour I put on my mask, locked my dogs in the car and went in. I did not see an online order pickup desk or any signs pointing to one. I did see many signs stating, "You Must Wear a Face Covering in the Store" before entering. I made a quick walk through one door down the main aisle to the other door and left because I saw way too many unmasked people inside and nobody doing anything about it! Needless to say, I cancelled my order. We have spent tens of thousands of dollars there over the last several years here and I regret every penny I...

The people here are extremely rude. Please replace the employees and manager of this store because they don’t know how to talk to or treat customers. I had a rude employee come up to me and call me mother instead of excuse me mam or in another respectful manner. Then she proceeded to talk to me in a judge mental manner instead of appropriately. Then I had another employee come up to me and talk to me in the same type of rude manner. There is a certain way you speak to customers and believe me I know this is not it. The manager is also unreasonable and a bit rude also. I will never shop at this store again. I do not recommend shopping at this location unless you want to be treated rudely and in a demoralizing way. I will shop elsewhere from Now on!!! They go way over the board on things at this store and I have never been treated like that at any hardware store. I’d much rather just shop elsewhere in a much more relaxed peaceful atmosphere. Never make a customer feel your judgement and dislike for them. Please find new employees and management! They say employees are a reflection of...
