My wife needed a new phone so we went to the store in Tyler by the mall. ATT rep was right at the door ready to help us. His name is Emerson and he was absolutely fantastic!! My wife has always used Samsung Galaxy all the time. But this time she was considering an IPHONE 12 Pro Max. And Emerson was very helpful and knowledgeable and able to help my wife with the information that she needed to make the choice. And on top of that, he reviewed out current plan and upgraded the plan they gave us the best with an ultra unlimited and then also saved us money as our monthly service price went down!! He set her phone up for her and explained in a way she would understand since she was new to the IPHONE system. And guess what, she loves it! He also let us know that we would receive HBO MAX for free and so that saves us money as we had this service already so we just canceled out previous account and starting using the deal they gave us. So, just to say, Emerson was knowledgeable, friendly, hell, even funny! Very personable to us as customers as we talked about different movies or TV SERIES we both were fans of! He is a very nice gentleman and I hope that ATT takes care of him and does whatever they have to to ensure he has a long career there! He deserves a good raise ATT supervisors !! My phone is due for upgrade in a couple of months. You know where I will be going to make that happen! Thanks Emerson, you were super great brother! And we appreciate you! ps He also got us the best insurance plan for all 4 of our phones on the account! Anytime we have upgraded our phones any where else over the last 14+ years we have been customers, no one has explained these things with us! This was an all new experience for us! And we are even considering the TV PLAN offered by ATT that he even took the time to show us it in great detail, actually showing his own phone and how he set his up. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm very disappointed that the AT&T insurance I've been paying for for 2 years was EXTREMELY difficult to use. Your way of handling is repulsive. I did not get the insurance on my new phone. Honestly I made the decision to get a new phone because I don't have the time or inclination to go through the drill you make people go through to use it! As far as apple goes if it were not for the fact everything I gave us Apple I would have purchased another brand. So your people in Tyler did their job well and were nice to deal with but I have little regard for AT&T and Apple!! I would not recommend either to a perspective customer.!
Several month later update. 9/5/22 My bill has not been what I was told it would be. I went back to the store and I was explained there were ācarry over chargesā my bill would adjust back the following month. It did but guess what, one month later it was incorrect again! So back to the store spoke with the manager. DeShawn, he was extremely helpful and once again corrected my bill.
My heads up to youā¦ā¦ dealing with the Tyler store people on Broadway has been successful, all I can say is AT&T as a company is confusing and they should quit spending money on TV advertising and give you what you want and expect the first time. They are not a well...

I was expecting more of the same and was prepared to simply do what one of the DirecTV loyalty department supervisors suggested that I do and that was to āterminate the account right now.ā We entered the Tyler store on Broadway and were immediately greeted warmly and introduced to a manager, Jamee. And from that moment, we received interested and kind responses AND HELP! Jamee and Mitzi took the time to listen and act on our behalf. It was nearly unbelievable and their help literally brought me to tears! These two were incredible!! I know I will be able to seek help in the future from these two ladies should DirecTV not follow through with all we put in place. Itās my personal opinion that anyone who needs help from DirecTV not waste their time by calling DirecTV. It was horrendous and lasted for HOURS and from December 6 through December 31!!
