Came to this location (which is 20 minutes out of the way with no traffic) straight after work wearing scrubs, only to find out they open late. So I had to wait around the mall for another hour. I head up to return a perfume that I bought only 2 days prior bc it didn’t wear well and I didn’t think it smelled very nice on. Immediately the SA asked if I took the plastic off, and I said yes (how else would I know it was not long lasting or that the smell wasn’t to my liking?). He immediately gets the manager, Tamara (I think). She completely refused to return or even exchange the perfume bc the plastic was off, even though they allow you to return with the plastic off if they deem it to be a manufacturing defect. I told her the same thing as the SA, adding that I had driven out of my way and waited around for an hour because they weren’t open at the normal time. She didn’t do anything to help me at all nor give me the phone number for customer service/let me know there is a corporate return option. I feel like part of her unwillingness to help was partially due to the fact that I was wearing scrubs (even though they are nice ones), because I’ve never had a Chanel SA or manager be so totally unhelpful. The policy is ridiculous to start, bc if you aren’t satisfied with the quality of something, especially a from a luxury company, you should be able to. Second, I was not informed of this policy before I purchased this. This is not how you should be acting as an employee in a luxury store, especially when the customer went out of their way and is willing to exchange for another product. I called customer care myself, and now the only way I can return is to pay for shipping myself. The lady on the phone was very helpful and apologetic about the situation, and offered to escalate the issue. I am waiting for a call back so I can return this. I’ve seen multiple reviews on how they treat people bad and make people uncomfortable and that is the same situation I had when I entered the store with two of my friends. YES I AM YOUNG (20) AND YES I CAME IN WITH REGULAR CLOSE THAT DOES NOT MEAN YOU TREAT SOMEONE DIFFERENT. Mind you, I was ready to actually buy something but due to the service and my experience I was given and what I was told I ended up leaving the store, highly upset and very uncomfortable, I entered the store and automatically a woman asked me if I needed help and I said not at this moment, then she proceeded to follow us,(That’s what made me uncomfortable at first ) then when I actually needed her help since she was already around us, I asked her to get a bag for me that I wanted to try and see the price of(bag was on a top shelf ) . This woman proceeded to ask me to move to one side of the table, along with my friends, which made me very weirded out because I was confused on why she had asked me to move when it was only me and her side on 1 side and my friends were on the other side and then proceeded to go get the bag FROM THE BACK , not even the shelf itself, but she had to go to the back to get the bag that I wanted to try so it confused me why she wanted me to move from one side of a table just to be on the same side, as my friends were standing on, she acted almost scared of us, and as if we were going to do something, I feel very attacked and disrespected I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS CHANEL and I will always tell this story to family members and more because this is very sad and need to be spoken about CHANEL DO BETTER with Who you hire because they will get the company A bad look to people who are just trying to spoil themselves and get something nice for themselves.I WILL NEVER BE BACK TO...
Read moreLOVE my first time experience here. Due to COVID I waited in line outside of the store. They are smaller compared to some of the other stores located in the same building, and so in order to follow the CDC guidelines, they are doing the right thing. The wait definitely wasn't long. I got help from a girl names Jessica. She definitely knew how to make a great first impression because I would definitely go back because of the experience I had with her.
She helped me locate a pair of sunglasses that I had been eyeing for a while, and within minutes, I was able to get them. I also looked for a pair of sunglasses for my mom, and she nailed that one too. AMAZING!
I hope that they will be able to help me find the regular Eyewear piece I'm looking for too!!! I know they are a well known brand, but their sunglasses are not much different in price in comparison to other name brands. You get what you pay for. I have always been a firm believer of purchasing quality, and I don't go out to these types of stores often, but when I do, I typically know what I want.
I got the square sunglasses with the gold chanel letters for myself and the square sunglasses with the pearl accents on the side. Both are such great quality.
I recommend this place and especially if you want great customer service and a great experience, ask for Jessica. She helped me find my moms pair of sunglasses by bringing out items that I was specifying and we needed something smaller in frames due to her cheek bones being high, and the preference was for the shades to be the darkest possible because she gets pretty severe migraines and blocking out the sun helps.
