Took my laptop in for a broken DC port, got it back with a broken screen and broken wifi adapter. It took me another $155 to fix the screen (at a local computer repair place) only to then find out about the broken wifi adapter. My guess is they messed up soldering the wires back together, even at the outrageous price of $165 for a broken computer. Check your computer in the shop before signing on the dotted lines. Boot it up, everything.
Mind you this was an otherwise perfect laptop when I brought it in. Nothing was wrong except it wouldn't charge and had a bad DC port, a common problem on the model I brought in.
Right now I'm out over $300 with a computer that still isn't detecting its own wifi adapter. If I could go back in time I'd just buy another gaming...
