I am going to write my review as a letter (taking the time to read this will tell you all you need to know about this business).
Dear D. Geller & Sons Staff....With a HUGE Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to Taylor-
How can my husband and I thank you enough? I have been in the customer service industry for years and I personally can't even remember the last time I was blown away by the GENUINE service from you. First, many many months ago, we went on a never-ending search to find our wedding/engagement rings. We searched everywhere (literally, and couldn't find what we wanted), and when we finally came to you, we found both in the same day and the same place! We were not ready to purchase, but your staff was so personable and patient that we kept you in the back of our minds. When my husband (then fiancee) and I decided to get married 6 months later, we did not want to wait, so in I walked with the task to order both our rings (2.5 weeks before our wedding). Taylor again helped us, and she was amazing. She was determined that we would get our rings the day of (a daunting task, and we realized going in that my ring may not be ready). I could make this story longer but to sum it up, Taylor and the whole staff (at 2 stores) worked tirelessly to make sure we got it the morning of! They were TEXTING (that's right, and it was great they were so easy and flexible to work with), and called us before the store opened to let us come get our rings. They were kind, and really just went way out of their way to make our special day perfect. If you want a great experience with buying jewelry, look no further. This group of people should be teaching the rest of the world what customer service should look like. Thank you Taylor. Thank you to the rest of the team who helped us make our day perfect. You are amazing, with hearts of gold, and please know your effort does not go unnoticed.

Read moreI wanted to get my wife a nice piece of jewelry for our anniversary and had no idea what. So I did what anyone would do.. started looking on the web for some nice pieces. Being an adult male aged 25-49, I listen to sports radio and I'd remembered Mike Bell (Heyyy mannn) doing some ad spots for D. Geller. So I found the D. Geller & Son website and it had an amazing selection. However, I knew that I was no match for the sheer number of items. So I headed in to a store.
I was greeted at the Sandy Springs location by a friendly associate named Marcie who asked me what brought me in today. When I told her, she asked if I had any ideas and after some discussion we'd narrowed it down to some diamonds by the yard necklaces. Stunning pieces. Marcie helped me narrow it further to the piece that I ended up purchasing.
While I was in there I figured I may as well buy some jewelry in advance for Christmas. Marcie showed me the ear ring selection and helped me pick out the perfect pair of earrings for my wife.
Marcie was quite helpful and once I had both pieces I began to debate which piece for the anniversary and which piece for Christmas. She involved some other co-workers and took an informal survey. Once I had the vote, I proceeded with purchasing the items. The transaction went more smoothly than I could have hoped and the staff, Marcie in particular, was helpful, knowledgeable, and made the experience a great one. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer.
And for the epilogue: I ended up giving my wife both pieces for our anniversary (because I can't hold a surprise that long) and she...
Read moreMy now fiancĂ© and I went to DGS on March 30, 2019. They were running a promotion 60 months free financing which I thought was too good to be true. Turned out it was. First of all my center stone is 2.04 carats and the band is 1.32 carats. It was the price of a vehicle but my fiancĂ© thought I was worth it of course. A week and a half later, I saw what appeared to be a crack in the center stone. I was not only shocked but very upset. We took time off work the next day after noticing it to go back to DGS. The rep there cleaned it and stated that it was an interior flaw which I certainly do not believe because with my eye I can see a crack on the flat edge of the diamond at the top. He also stated it was there when we got it which was also untrue because I would have noticed it. He said he could replace it with a one and a half carat for the same price or we could upgrade to a better quality (same size) for more money. He made it out to seem like we were not as important as a paying customer because we took advantage of the free financing. I walked out with the same diamond in the ring because he didnât have one of the same value. NOT HAPPY!!! You would think that with DGS being in business for so long that they would have done what they could to have me walk out of the store proud to wear their jewels. Didnât happen! And we drove over an hour to go there! Whether we took advantage of free financing or not!! Regardless we are paying for it! Lesson learned! Oh and the center stone by itself was over $10K! I guess I get what I get for not being a âpayingâ...
