Itâs going to be a no for me, but only for this particular location.
I have been a Snooze lover since I started dinning at several locations in Charlotte, NC. I was elated when they opened up the first location in Atlanta on Roswell Rd. I have dinned at that location a number of times. As such, I was excited to see a Snooze opening in my neck of the woods!
Friday around 11:30 am or so, I made time to make a to go order at this location. One would think that ordering ahead would ensure no wait when I arrived. How wrong that assumption was! The app noted that my food would be ready at 12:15pm. When I arrived I told one of the two hostess at the stand that I was there to pick up a to go order. She went to retrieve my order but could not find it. She eventually came back with my food, however, there was not matcha to accompany the food. She told me that the barista would be making my drink. After waiting about 15 min I asked for an ETA on when my drink would be ready. The hostess said I donât know because the barista is making it!! WOWWWWWW!! Ok- that translated to leave me alone in my head, but I digress! đ
I waited a few more minutes and finally approached the gentleman behind the bar to get an update. He advised me that he was making the drink and it should be up shortly. I honestly donât think he started making my drink until I came over to inquire about it. Overall I spent about 30 minutes waiting on a to go order. Needless to say, my food was cold and was not nearly as good as it would have been had it been ready to go when I arrived.
The staff at this location did not remind me of the wonderful service I have received at all the other Snooze restaurants I have patronized. This was so disappointing, however, this may be for my good. I will not be patronizing this spot as often as I initially thought I would. I can assure you that my next snooze experience will be at the Roswell Rd. Location. They treat me...
Read moreHow this sweet and patient waitress waited on 18 people with such ease and not many restaurants I know check to see if there are any allergies in the group or special needs. We never had to look for her, she was right there. When you have a large group sometimes your food is delayed but our food was received hot and speedily.
I wrote this poem that explains how our Seasoned 55+ Church Group felt on our Brunch at Snooze
THANKS SEASONED 55+ FOR JOINING US!!!!! Brunch at SNOOZE with the Seasoned Crew
We gathered at SNOOZE for brunch and cheer, Seasoned saints with love sincere. Food, fun, and laughter in full supplyâ A time to lift our spirits high.
We met our host as strangers, but that didnât last, She greeted us warmly as we walked past. Familiar faces filled the space, Laughter and love all over the place.
We got settled in and menus appeared, All dietary quirks were graciously cleared. Our drinks stayed full, our needs were met, With kindness and care we wonât forget.
We didnât feel rushed, no sense of delay, Just patient attention all along the way. A warm, cozy vibe filled every chair, Like being with family whoâs glad youâre there.
At the end came the photoâour joyful crew, Captured by Destiny with bold follow-through. That spirited employee, full of flair, Said, âIâll pop a wheelie to get Mom in there!â
We left with hugs and warm goodbyes, Laughter lingering, spirits high. Each one smiling, hearts akinâ Already saying, âLetâs do it again!â

Read moreGreat atmosphere. Not busy on mid-late Tuesday morning. Ordered Garden omelette and blue berry pancake. The blueberry pancake was delicious no syrup needed. Garden Omelette was missing avocado and feta toppings. . Maybe for the best since the omelette was overly salty. I think the veggies are marinated, exacerbating saltiness. Server never came to check in after delivering food. I was hungry and pushed through eating the omelette. The side salad which I ordered undressed helped as the spinach salad offered a welcome blandness and the tomatoes add a slight sweetness. These help to tamper saltiness. I informed server of the over salty omelette and the forgotten toppings. Response was Iâm new, so still learning how food is prepared. She offered to bring me toppings at no extra chargeâŠ.. She said sheâd let them know about saltiness. It is my first and last time at this location. Too many other tried and true brunch/breakfast spots in the area. I have been to other Snooze locations and food has been delicious. So this location may need time build consistent quality. Some refining needed, but unfortunately I am left with salty taste. đ
Update: manager dropped by after I completed my review. He asked about experience and I gave my feedback. FYI: the Veggies in omelet are not marinated. So I guess just too much salt added. He did offer something to go and card for pancake for next time. Upgrades my...
