The nurses are good (Rex). The doctor (Gill and Havard) are good. Even Mena from billing. However seems like some targeting but who knows. I won’t say this is institutionalized racism but feels the same. However let’s blame it on the insurance. That said the billing department is horrible (Lacey), extremely lazy. When you’re dealing with cancer and getting lifesaving treatment, you expect at least some compassion and or just good customer service. Which means if you don’t know the answer you try to find out and still help you client, customer or patient get what they need. I won’t go into all of it, however since Kaweah Delta has taken over the cancer center, it’s about that dolla. Nothing else. So if you have Aetna even with in and out of network, they will refuse care. They seem to be doing some if not illegal at least unethical things like refusing care. And not even billing my secondary. I hope they never find themselves in similar situation. So this is a word to those considering where to go to get treatment, apparently the answer is out of area. Or at the least Fresno. Read moreDr. Havard is good, his nurse practitioner (forgot her name) is awesome. Brandy as a medical assistant is HORRIBLE!!!!! No customer service at all. Never answers the phone, you have to leave a voicemail and she returns your call in 2-3 days even when the recording says that she will do it in between 24 hrs. When she calls, she gives you an attitude and I got TIRED OF HER. I called the front desk and requested somebody to help me as I had been waiting for “Brandy” to call me back with an appointment which was all she would tell me the three times I called before (“I will call you with an appointment”). Erika was amazing and very helpful. She even apologized for something that she did not do. She looked in the system and informed me that there was as an appointment already scheduled for me and guess what? There was also a “note” saying that I had been informed about it, which is A LIE!!
