Went through drive thru at the Acres location; my friend ordered on the app like she has many times. She used to be a manager at this location. At the second window, we experienced the shift manager, David. He "took our order", which amounted to being angry at us/verbally scolding us-not gently. My friend asked for his name & said she was going to complain about him...what is the order online feature for? It says it's to make ordering faster & easier. This is not meant to be taken in a mean or harsh tone. And I know times have changed, but to my knowledge, fast food restaurants still (& always will) adhere to the customer is always right (within reason) policy-otherwise, there's too much potential for error. So David completely ignored the mobile app order we placed, citing the fact that we didn't make contact with him at the speaker/menu in the drive thru. He was not there until we were well past said speaker. David seemed to be on "Karen" vibe-but I have only seen Karens get turnt on people who've actually done something wrong, albeit something small. We did nothing wrong. We did share our distaste for being treated so poorly. Also, it's important to note: he inflicted a level of push back that I've only experienced when in an argument. We had used the app to order Pineapple Express milkshakes. David hadn't made them until we pulled up to the window & ordered them-then when we got them, they weren't fully mixed, having lots of syrup in the bottom of our cups. They tasted nasty-I'd never had gross food from Jack In The Box-but I can't say THAT anymore. It was 2 milkshakes. He took every opportunity to be as rude as humanly possible. At the very end, I had said that I have performed his same job & the customer is always right. He was unprofessional, he displayed poor leadership & if he had worked at the same place I had, this kid would be looking for a new place to offend & alienate the public because he'd've been terminated on the spot: no grounds for drawing unemployment, either. I absolutely will avoid Jack In The Box at all costs as that trip through their drive thru was emotionally & physically draining & I felt an undeniable sense of being triggered, completely. Shout out to the shift manager, David, working late on Saturday night at the Akers Jack In The Box: you need your mouth washed out with a pressure washer. Jack In The Box ought to make a training video & incl. footage of his shift that night, How NOT TO ACT, AS A SHIFT MANAGER or HOW TO GET FIRED, ON THE SPOT. Whew! He'll probably get a hunk of coal in his...
Read moreIt can be very difficult to catch an employee's attention when you're standing at the counter with a question, needing something like more ketchup packets or an error to be corrected on your food order, or to ask for a small change before food in your order is prepped. This location tends to make errors on customization of food orders frequently for whatever reason. If you must have your food/toppings done a certain way, then you'd better check your food before you leave the location! If you are more selective about the freshness of the cook or oil for fries, you should ask for details or make request when ordering so you are less likely to get disappointed by mixed fries that are less than fresh or foul taste from oil being past due for a change. And owners: keep up the restrooms please- sheesh! Soap dispenser and basic stuff stays broken forever here. Restrooms also REALLY need a deep-clean of the floor edges, around toilets and sinks, and the entire doors themselves at least once a month to decrease overall ick factor. What is a customer supposed to believe about employee hygene when there is no hand soap!? Dining area is generally well kempt but also could use a deep clean (wipe down the walls around the tables!) and some updates to furniture. In general the wait time is acceptable for pick up, dining and drive thru. Food ingredients usually appear and taste fresh except occasionally the deep fry oil. Burgers could definitely use a tiny bit more lettuce for that fresh satisfying bite crunch and the appearance of a nice handful of burger, at very little addition to overhead. My favorite JINTB breakfaat item is the Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich but I've nearly stopped getting them altogether because the price at $8+ for just a sandwich is way too steep IMHO. I'd much prefer seeing a price $5-6 and make the cheese an optional add-on cost. Perhaps use least expensive option of bread (allow profit margin without decreasing desirability of sandwich). Overall, I'd recommend Jack In The Box for breakfast over any other fast food restaurant in Visalia. The rest of menu is also tasty, although some items are less than budget friendly fast food, such as the over priced chicken strips. Currently, the best value is the 2 for $5 Jumbo Jack burgers. However, I do enjoy the grilled chicken sandwich here more than almost any other f.f offerings out there. So go forth & enjoy your Jack In The Box meal! Don't forget to order those yummy...

Only putting five stars so this will be seen first. Let me start off with I have never done a review because personally I just don't really care to do them but I am so upset that I feel it's nessacery. I came into this jack in the box waited quite a bit before I was greeted because they were all busy talking including the manager, and normally I would just forget about it because for the most part it's no big deal because I just get my food and forget about it when I leave. So anyways when I was finally agnolaged I ordered a club salad and I personally like a lot of dress so I asked for three ranch dressings.. the cashier repeated me in a mocking way saying "three!?" and I responded saying "yes three". Then she continued on with asking me if I was on a diet!! (Which might I add is very personal in my eyes and very embarrassing considering there were people beside me). Then to make it worse she told them whenever the chicken was up to put three ranches in the bag and the girl on fryers turns around quickly and rolled her eyes at me (both girls red shirts) !! ALL I WANTED WAS MY SALAD AND A LITTLE BIT OF KINDNESS CONSIDERING THESE GIRLS ARE GETTING PAID TO BE FRIENDLY AND TAKE MY ORDER WITHOUT JUDGMENT OR ATLEAST NOT MAKING IT OBVIOUS THAT THEY ARE JUDGING ME. I will not be coming back to this jack in the box ever again because of the horrible attitude shown from you...
