Is the mmiddle-age blonde woman the owner (who sets the culture?) or is she just a poorly trained employee? One can visit a place like this and have a perfectly good experience. Or, like me, they can approach the edge and discover the underbelly.
I went in today to give my Shar Pei a bath and buy supplies for her and my new pup. I also have a bird. I was told that the baths were closed. Oh really I said. When do they close. An hour before closing she replied. What time is it? 4 she said. It wasn't 4 yet. It was 5 til. It wasn't even 4 when I got to my car... and I use the atomic clock.
What difference would it have made if she let me in even if it was already 4 PM, compared to 3:55 - which it actually was. The treat and toy sections have the basics, but that is where the selections are limited by space; however, the staff are great about special orders. Also, I've found that when I've wanted to know the info behind the label, these ladies really know...
