Moving to a new town and having to find a new barber is stressful. The pressure and stress goes up by at least double when you need a haircut for an important job interview.

I walked into Dimaggio’s Barber Shop around 2pm on a Tuesday and was immediately greeted and promptly seated. No wait! I asked for a high skin fade to 0 and a part on my left side. My barber took a moment to double check to see if it would be a good fit for me (it is) and proceeded to cut my hair. He had a feather touch. The razors they use are not super loud. The whole cut was over in 10-15 minutes. I am not a chatty person during haircuts and I almost dozed off if it wasn’t for my phone ringing to confirm my interview.

Bonus points for checking in with me and getting right the first time. $35 for the cut. Everyone was warm and friendly. I would recommend and will definitely be returning.

Well I had come to this place from S.f. because all barbershops in city closed. So I had come on a Tuesday, and arrived at 4pm, when they closed at 5:30, thinking i have more than enough time, considering waiting 30-45 mins. But then one of the barbers tells me, to come back tomorrow because there is protesting going to happen, (In Walnut Creek), so am frustrating, but kinda understand! So I come back the next day, sign my name and put a message next to my name to call because ill be waiting in car and provided my cell number, because its blistering in the sun. Well they supposedly call my name, but dont call. Then tell them, I put my number down, then another barber says, sorry we are busy, I say, well I put my number. The barber who is cutting my hair, barely knew English, but did an ok job, after spotting some hairs he missed. Would go somewhere...

It was my first time and I just walked in with a hope of a good haircut. The waitlist was long but there was nobody arrived. So, Mr. Sonam said he would give me a haircut until the people on the list appear. I didn't know what to do with my hair, so I told him to make me look good however he wanted and let him do his job. I loved the result on how quick and precisely he designed my hair. Before my hair was done his waitlist customer showed up but still he took time to groom me and put on some hair gel and fixed up my style. I was very satisfied with with his service and got out of his salon looking fresh and neat. Will definitely come back and recommend to my friends and families as well. Thank you Dimaggio's...
