Pillar & Post — Local services in Washington

I just made a phonecall to this store a few minutes ago to simply inquire about english antiques. The gentleman on the phone was rude, unhelpful and absolutely condescending. It turns out he was not a full-time employee, just someone the store owner needed to watch the shop unexpectedly while she was out.

I was, however quite impressed with the way Daphna quickly contacted me to share her concern about my experience and to reiterate how important personal, insightful and positive experiences are to a boutique shop. When a business owner handles a situation like this, it speaks volumes about how they run the business as a whole.
