Our toddler put some toys in the kids cart and we expected to buy some. When we asked the price they were $10-$14 each so we could afford just two or three. We had every intention of putting the toys back. The salesperson or owner saw and started making passive aggressive comments about how parents should control their kids so they don’t make a mess of the store and then complained about how hard it will be to put the cars back on the shelf. I offered to help and then did help her organizing the cars. After saying that I hope I was of some help to her, she said not really and proceeded to put the cars in different positions while switching them over and over making it seem overly complicated when it seemed pretty neat…it seemed like she just wanted to complain. Needless to say we did buy two cars but we will never be going back to that store. We felt so uncomfortable in a kids toys store where of all places should be...

The store is great but whoever that lady was that was working today threw everything off. I honestly hate being the last people in the store so I get it. She was very upfront and states hey we close in 10 minutes. We understood and just wanted to take a peek. She was saying things like I brought everything in and didn’t think anyone would come in. She was also saying things like can you please hurry so I can leave. Also come back another time where you have an hour to look around. Very pushy made me not want to come back or buy anything. Not good for business. She automatically lost 4 potential clients at once. After her continuous remarks we decide to leave. After checking the time I later realized it wasn’t even 15 minutes before close time and she was...
Read moreWe visited this store a week before Christmas. There were no signs posted outside indicating the opening time but the door was open so we (my husband, young son and I) decided to have a look around. There was another mother and her child browsing the store as well. We were greeted by the shop person and told to ask if we need assistance. Then less than a minute later we were told by the same person that the store does not open until 10am (it was 9:45am) and if we weren’t going to buy anything we needed to leave and come back when they were open. We love supporting independent business, even if their prices are usually a little higher. And we actually were considering buying a $130 shopping cart. But after being told to buy something or get out, whilst the other mother and her child happily browsed the store at their leisure, we won’t be...
