The flavors had me going into a trance. Genuinely one of the most tasteful eateries in Georgetown i’ve ever been. The food is prepared FRESH and obviously with love because each bite felt like a dream. I ate here with my boyfriend and we usually talk during meals but we were SILENT this time… that’s how you know the food is good. We got the chicken masala, lamb vindaloo, and mango lassi. Everything was unbelievable delicious and filling (we still have leftovers!! (rare)) 100000/10 coming back again and again because i’m already craving this place. COME AND GRUB YOU WONT REGRET!

This is THE place for biriyani or samosas. I’ve tried almost every Indian spot around DC and Arlington, and this delicious hole in the wall sits high on my list for takeout. The butter chicken could use less tomato paste, and the naan could be a bit crispier, but that’s me being picky. Every time my partner and I have tried to do takeout from Masala Street on a weekend night, they’ve had to turn us away because they had too many orders. We were successful on a Wednesday night, however, and we look forward to coming back.

The most perfect place of its kind. Awesome food paired with even better owners. This isn't hyperbole: The best student eatery in Georgetown. I started coming last year after they reopened and fell in love. Its an eatery, so don't expect large-restraunt ambience, but the food is delectable.

I've eaten most items on the menu alongside my friends (fellow Georgetown students who similarly love this place), and each is amazing. The naan is nothing special, but their entrees never disappoint. The portion sizes satisfy gluttons like myself without compromising quality. Aside from their masalas (chicken tikka is my cliche favorite), their appetizers are a hidden gem. In particular, I advise samosa chaat, which comes with a shockingly delicious mint chutney.

I've watched this place rapidly become a fixture for Georgetown students and the city at large. Open late on weekends for hungry students and manned by a friendly, dedicated staff, my out-of-town guests can expect to eat here at least once...

I've ordered from here 36 times, including opening day. I track every single time I get a meal from here because I love the food that much and would like to quantify that. Superb food, great staff (I'm biased because they know me now), reasonable prices for Georgetown, and everything is made to order. I'm happy to see the place evolve since they opened, and I will be glad to follow it into the future until my very dying breath. It's my first recommendation to everybody I know in Georgetown when the topic of food comes up. It is genuinely one of my favorite parts of studying at Georgetown and was a not-insignificant incentive to continue studying here for...

If you’re in Washington, DC—especially around Georgetown—you have to check out Masala Street Eatery! The food was absolutely amazing. The biryanis were full of flavor, and the chicken tikka masala was hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had.

What really stood out, besides the delicious food, was the hospitality. The owners were so kind and welcoming—it felt like visiting family. You can tell they really care about their guests and the quality of their dishes.

Make sure to stop by before 11 PM, as that’s when they close.

Highly recommend this hidden gem in Georgetown to anyone who loves great...
