Shake Shack Elston and Logan — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

Definitely will be coming back! We went on opening day and they’re almost perfect! Everyone who was working when we went was so nice and attentive, offering to help people with the menu, cleaning frequently and checking in on guests. The only thing I would change is to have the spicy fries tossed in the spicy seasoning instead of it just laid on top (no idea if that’s all of shake shack, but thought I’d mention it). We stopped by Shake Shack today after a walk. Before ordering, I went to the restroom to wash my hands. There was a light smell of weed in there. As I was finishing up at the sink, a Shake Shack employee came out of a stall. I stepped aside, thinking she’d want to wash her hands — but nope, she just walked right out. That’s honestly gross. If you’re working around food, basic hygiene should be a given. After that, we totally lost the appetite to eat...

So happy something finally moved into this location. Even happier that it’s Shake Shack! Don’t get yourself booted - park in their lot on the side of the building. The side without an entrance to the actual restaurant.

The food is great as always but the decor makes the relatively large space so loud with dragging metal on cement floors. They expect you to order on tablets when you walk in which is unfortunate. You should be able to order...
