On the positive, they have gotten my orders right. (Which is more than I can say for some other QSRs in the area.) But I’m very disappointed with the takeout service order using the Potbelly app. Both times I have done so recently, my order has not been ready on the time listed on the app. After giving them 5 extra minutes to prepare it, I’ve asked someone there where it is and both times they look at the computer, scroll down/up, and say “Sorry, someone must have stolen it.” I know this isn’t true because I arrive 5 minutes before the order is supposed to be ready and I’m seeing all the Uber eats and DoorDash drivers come in. The person by the takeout orders is asking the customer for their name but not asking for ID/screenshot of order confirmation (which they should be doing). Then they start to make my order which is 10-15 minutes later than the expected time. So I’m using their own app and third-parties are getting food ahead of me. I don’t get offered anything in return for my time sitting there. Meanwhile, the third parties continue to get their food and my dog is leashed outside and I have to continue to go outside checking on him. A free sandwich, drink, or side would be nice. Please fix your technology, be transparent about why my order was missed, and provide some sort of compensation for the mistake, along with an apology, rather than putting it on the shelf while I’m standing...
Read moreIt was weird. This new setup, just like any other fast food restaurant, totally made me feel like I wasn't inside a Potbelly. The menu is so distracting - blinking sandwich pictures like McDonald's - and the list of toppings is tiny. I was completely thrown off and it took me twice as long to order since I had to have my topping changed 3 times. When I went to the end to wait for my sandwich, seeing the toppings setup I thought for a minute that I was at Subway but without the part where you say what you want on the sub. I had to actually look around to make sure, and to be honest, since none of the familiar decor was present I wasn't very reassured. Potbelly's name was nowhere to be seen. Seriously, this was such a generic looking restaurant that even though the food tasted about the same, I left feeling very unsatisfied. Everything that made Potbelly's unique was missing and it's perplexing that this location is trying to blend in with other fast food joints instead of trying to stand out. Don't plan on going back to this location. Will go to ones with the original setup. ** Edited to add: so this response to my review is just as generic as the location. My review is very detailed and I said I prefer the old setup. That's what they can do to make this better along with better signage and decor. Go back to...
Read morePosting this because I'm A little lost and can't get a straight answer from the store. So a week ago a guy named Eddie called me rather enthusiastic to invite me in for an interview yesterday oct 14 at 345 with a guy named Louis well after going all the way over there I walk inside and ask for Louis and this guy named clint tells me and I quote "Louis left early i don't know anything about an interview then basically laughed in my face and shrugged his shoulders and walked away so I got a little suspicious and had my husband call and just ask for Louis in which clint answered and told my husband that Louis didn't work at all yesterday and there was some issue with management and that I would have to reschedule and btw they never called me too tell me there was a cancelation or I need to reschedule. that in my opinion is highly unprofessional. And I'd still like to have that interview I am still very much interested in working for the company I just don't think its fair that I miss an opportunity because of their lack of professionalism and communication. I'm posting here in hopes that this can be resolved because they lie right too my face in the store and...
