I bought new jeans online for black Friday weekend deal for $39.99 ( plus some other things, I received $30 Kohls cash also) . they were the wrong size, so as I went back into the store, I used my kohls cash, and went to customer care to exchange my pants. They didn't have my size, so I called into customer care online, they re-ordered the jeans in the right size and charged me the full $39.99. and told me to return the jeans to the store, and it wont effect my kohls cash. When I returned the jeans I only got a credit for $27.00 ... I asked the customer care gal, and she told me that since I spent my kohls cash, they are only giving me a partial credit. That is NOT what I was told, and you'd think that since I already spent the $39.99 I would get the $39.99 credit.... apparatnly not I guess. they told me the only way to get the full amount back to is get a store credit. :( Not too happy with Kohls right now... I just wanted this to be credited back on my Kohl's charge card! I'm not going to be shopping there for a really long time. I really did get screwed on this deal and paid way more for those jeans. I may even cancel my Kohl's charge card. I'm taking back the replacement jeans back too... I'll buy jeans somewhere else and gladly pay...
   Read moreThis was the most frustrating experience and we have liked Kohl's over the years. We ordered a present for our daughter on Kohl's online and paid for it and received a confirmation number in our email. It was to be picked up at this location. I left work in the middle of the day in a snowstorm to pick it up so that we would have it for the holiday. When I arrived they told more that they had no record of our order. After finding the confirmation number and noticing a subsequent email from Kohl's we discovered that they actually didn't have it in stock and had cancelled our order. We didn't think to check our email prior to going to pickup our item. But it gets better. One of the customer service personnel tells me that's the way their online service works and you get a confirmation before they check if they actually have the item, and people get upset because that's the way they do it. So they look it up and find four of the items we want a at a Kohl's closer to our home. We go out there and it's the wrong item! They help us once again and finally find one at a distant location and we have to go pick it up on the holiday. This was a miserable experience especially when other online services are so good...
   Read moreI viewed an item online before going to purchase, I should have checked the availability for that store before hand, but didn't think of it until after the poor customer service I received. First I was told they dont have anything like that, as if it was an absurd idea that I would find a roadside emergency kit here. (Its a seasonal gift item they have just about every year). We made an entire lap around the store and the same worker asked if we found what we were looking for (this was a good step) so they then used the instore head set and again the response was no. I told them it's on the website, and was told it's probably online only (which it wasn't) but they didn't offer to look it up or anything. At that point we left and I looked up the availability at another store and purchased it there, where I was greeted with exceptional customer service from everyone I came in...
