After hearing good things and reading good reviews of Curry Pizza I thought it would be the perfect thing for my daughter’s birthday party. I decided to order online and pick it up at 3:00. The website kept kicking me out of the menu so I decided to just write my order down and call them. They were very nice and accommodating on the phone and after my order was complete they sent me a link to pay and confirm my order and payment.
Everything went through smoothly until I’m driving to pick it up and I get a call from them telling me my payment hasn’t been confirmed. I pull over and look at the link they sent and it had a green check mark and the words “payment confirmed” so I took a screen shot and told them I’d be there in less than 2 minutes. They told me they see that I had confirmed the payment and they’d have my order in 15 or 20 minutes.
They hadn’t even begun to show prepare it so it was a complete wast of my time to try and arrange a pick up time. They screwed up and didn’t even acknowledge that they had. They didn’t apologize for wasting my time. I was a half hour late to my own kids birthday party and I had all the food. They didn’t offer to an apology or any kind of compensation at all.
I ordered about $170 worth of food to feed about 16 people, 9 kids and 7 adults. Everyone was impressed with the food quality. The kids loved the traditional pizzas and the adults loved...
Read moreWords can't describe how incredible my experience was at this place today. I went in thinking they'd had a few similar tasting curry pizzas, but I was so wrong. The variety and flavors are UNMATCHED. Other "fancy" pizza chains try to serve curry or Thai pizzas, and they fall short. These guys know what they're doing! The onion cheese naan sticks were KILLER. The Thai peanut chicken pizza made me want to cry happy tears (as did the mango lassi- YUM). The Bhinda special has 87 total ingredients(!!) And the dessert pizza is not your typical dry, bland crunchy dessert. They top it with unprocessed cane sugar straight from India, and drizzle it with white chocolate instead of a cheap glaze. And the owner is SO passionate about his ingredients and flavors. They have traditional pizza as well, so even skeptics need to go knowing that there are safe fall back options. You don't want to miss out on the amazing curry pizzas, though. I'm already planning my next...
Read moreWe love Curry Pizza! I dream about the butter chicken pizza. You need to try it... order the butter chicken pizza. I promise. We really wish a location would open closer to us in SLC but we’ll still drive out to WVC because it’s soooo good.
The only critique is that there is no good system to check in if you order ahead and go to pick up your pizza, other than stand by the “pick up” sign. Unfortunately last time I was there, I stood there for 8 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me (although a door dash worker who came in after me was acknowledge and served before I was even acknowledged) and my pizza had been sitting there getting cold the entire, which was really frustrating. Maybe there can be some system developed so that people can let employees know they’re there for a pickup? Other than this hiccup, we’ve had great experiences and if you’re thinking of going, just go already! You...
