PC Pros — Local services in Wichita Falls

My experience with PC Pros:

I’ve wanted a gaming PC for years but never pulled the trigger and purchased one. I’ve watched countless hours of content online, read every review on parts and had multiple discussions with friends on how to go about the process. A close friend of mine had bought a PC from PC Pros and told me to check them out. So I set a budget and did.

I fist contacted the store via Facebook messenger. I was instantly responded to with a mobile phone number to call. I called a spoke with Darius (owner) about 2 weeks before coming into the store.

I called this man religiously. Sometimes twice a day. HE ANSWERED EVERY CALL BUT ONE. (He called back very shortly after). Keep in mind, this is BEFORE I ever came into the store. He helped explain what components would go best with each other as well as give much needed personal opinions on what would give me the best bang for my buck.

Fast forward 2 weeks and I’m in PC Pros ordering parts. Darius and John helped me make the right decisions on what components to get. I chose to go a touch over budget but, it was well worth it.

Due to a shipping mishap my case came a little later than it was supposed to, but was totally out of everyone’s control. Darius contacted me letting me know and also even told me he could still have the PC built in the time frame that we had agreed on if I wanted to change cases. I declined deciding to go with my original option. “Too easy!” He said.

After 2 weeks of purchasing (all of my parts other than the case were there and ready after 4 days) my PC was built and ready. These men did a phenomenal job. It’s beautiful and everything I wanted down to the wiring!! Darius and John both answered every single question I had, even the dumb ones! They were extremely polite and very professional.

I couldn’t recommend this company enough and I will never go to another PC shop. These guys definitely have a repeat customer for as long as they are...

I reached out when a new prebuilt system of mine was having overheating issues. PC Pros was responsive in their messages, upfront and incredibly fair about pricing, and had an impressively quick turnaround time. Proprietary limitations got in the way of some of the options, yet they still were able to offer several suggestions and improvements to greatly improve the cooling in a case that was far from ideal.

Even when I asked about more substantial changes to the system that no doubt would have been more expensive and more time consuming resulting in a higher bill, PC Pros showed a lot of customer care and integrity in discouraging those options due to the higher cost to me and the confidence that they could get the results I was looking for without going to those lengths.

The team at PC Pros knows what they're about, they're clearly passionate about it, they care a ton about their customers, the quality of their work even when working with hardware limitations is excellent, and they were honest, easy to talk to, and fair through the whole process.

PC Pros sets a new gold standard in their line of work. I'll definitely be making a point of doing whatever business I can with this company in the future, and highly encourage anyone who needs help with PC or PC parts purchasing, upgrading, or repair to talk to these guys.

2024 Update: I've used PC Pros several times now for different things, and literally every time I have been blown away by their professionalism, the quality of their service, and their pricing/charges which have been lower than expected almost every time. PC Pros is the place to go with any PC repairs, builds, or questions you have. I am from Lawton OK, about an hour away, and after a local PC shop messed up my spouses computer we decided to check out PC Pros abut 2 weeks ago.

Darius, the owner, was super nice and helpful. He let us know what the previous guy did wrong and how he would make sure it got fixed. It didn't take him long to fix the issue, about an hour. He even cleaned the entire case and made sure the cables were all tucked away nicely. He made us feel super welcome and overall was just a nice guy.

Flash forward to today, and we brought the computer back to have a new motherboard put in. Darius discovered more issues that the other guy did, and while it took him a bit longer than he anticipated to get the new motherboard in, he again was nice and communicated what was happening often. We even spent the last hour in his shop just chatting about random stuff as he worked on the computer.

And don't worry about price, the prices are so reasonable that I actually left feeling like we robbed the man.
