Triangle Plaza — Local services in Wilkes-Barre Township

My experiences has been fine here...dollar general can always bring you good deals. Ollie's is a hidden gem...the outside doesn't look like u would get good deals but holy moley, rugs, towels, coffee, curtains, etc its soo much stufd for great deal too! I went to Northeastern Eye Institute for an appt with my 2 kids. My 3 year old was a little fussy and was crying because she was sleepy, after I was finished and was checking out the receptionist rudely said next time, you should find a babysitter😖...i thought that was so rude to say. I immediately went on to say to her politely..."while I understand your concern but kids will be kids if they are tired or not. It's not your place to say that to a customer...its very unwelcoming. As long as someone child isn't running around knocking down glasses off the racks and causing commotion...just let them be." She than tried to fix her sly remark with "oh speaking of that , a kid had done that once...made such a huge mess in here...your little one was good." I smiled and thank them for my services but that will be my last time...

The plaza itself looks and is a little rundown, especially in front of Ollie's (the potholes are horrendous). However, I came to this plaza specifically to go to Ollie's and they didn't disappoint. Even though it was within 30 minutes of closing time, the employees (especially this one cashier, I wish I could remember her name) were extremely nice and pleasant to deal with. On top of that, I found everything that I had gone there for, plus their prices can't be beat on a lot of products. I forget about this store for months, then find myself there saying why don't I come here more often, I really should make a point of it, especially with so many local, well established...

Only been to 2 places there so far, Ollie's is awesome, prices & services. Had to return a few items, gave me the choice of swap, store credit, or money back. A good sign! Also if you got a craving for very good Latino food, El Ray's the place. I use to work for a company that supplies soda products, and I've seen the kitchen & restroom, very clean, so I tried the food. Flavorful, and ...
