My boyfriend loathes clothes shopping. His weight really bothers him and when he can't find clothes in his size at stores it just upsets him further. He needed a shirt, vest and jacket for a wedding we're going to this upcoming weekend and was not happy about having to go into a store. We brought the tie he would be wearing with us so we could coordinate colors. A few moments after we walked into DXL on Kidder Street in Wilkes-Barre until the time we left...he was smiling!!! Zeus (Derek) and Ted made his whole experience so much better than I could have ever hoped! They both helped get him in the right size shirt, vest and jacket (and complimentary colors to my dress!) and made the whole trip absolutely painless! They suggested trying different sizes in each item to make sure he had the best fit. He was even chuckling a few times! This store easily has the best customer service in the city. Nowadays it is so difficult to find salespeople who are knowledgeable, are genuinely kind, and aren’t too pushy. This store has all 3 of those. My husband and I went there for some formal wear for a family funeral and the saleswoman helping us was one of the kindest people in the area and didn’t rush us in the process while finding the perfect outfits. She even looked up the weather on her phone to ensure we got outfits to match what the weather will be like to ensure we were comfortable in our outfits. I mean, that level of service is simply unequalled in this area and came as a wonderful surprise. I would recommend this store to anyone. She’s amazing at what she does. I gave a basic idea of what I wanted - I was after a whole new look and a closet full of it - and Jackie worked her magic so well. She offers fashion knowledge along with suggestions - which you should definitely consider - but never pushy like some other stores, and she is super friendly.
