Oh, where do I even begin? A simple trip to Red Lobster turned into an epic saga thanks to the incomparable, the unforgettable, the magnificent Kennady! I had heard rumors of a server so skilled, so gifted, that her mere presence could turn a mundane meal into an event that will be talked about for generations. And let me tell you, these rumors were not exaggerated. Kennady is not just a server; she is an experience. A whirlwind of joy and lobster-scented wonder, if you will. Upon arriving, I was immediately greeted by Kennady’s radiant smile. It wasn’t just a smile, though. No, no. This was a smile that could stop traffic, warm the coldest of hearts, and possibly even summon the mythical "lobster gods" themselves. She took one look at me, and I swear the entire Red Lobster restaurant paused in anticipation, as if they knew something extraordinary was about to happen. I ordered the Ultimate Feast and expected the usual. But then, Kennady happened. She delivered the food like she was bringing in the Holy Grail, the Grand Prize of a thousand kingdoms. Each plate she set before me was like a work of art. The lobster tail? Perfectly cooked, tender as a lullaby. The shrimp? It practically danced on the plate, each morsel more flavorful than the last. But it wasn’t just the food; it was Kennady’s energy. She didn’t just serve food—she delivered joy. But wait, there’s more! At one point, I found myself questioning whether I had entered a parallel universe. Kennady, with all the grace of a gazelle and the charm of a Disney princess, started recommending drinks that were so perfectly tailored to my tastes, I felt like I was living in a five-star restaurant’s VIP section. Every refill of my drink, every napkin fold, and every question about my meal was handled with the grace of a ballet dancer and the speed of a caffeinated squirrel. Her timing was impeccable. I didn’t have to ask for anything. It was as if Kennady had a sixth sense for what I needed before I even realized it. Was I about to sneeze? Here’s a tissue, as if summoned by a higher power. Did I need more butter? Oh, it appeared in my hands before I could even say, "More butter, please!" And the conversation! It wasn’t just small talk. It was an enlightening journey. Kennady asked about my day, my life, and my hopes and dreams. She made me feel like I was the only guest in the restaurant, despite the fact that the place was packed with hungry lobster enthusiasts. But the true test of a great server, the moment when I knew Kennady was an absolute legend, came when I accidentally dropped a piece of biscuit under the table. Not just any biscuit. A precious, buttery Red Lobster biscuit that I had been savoring like it was the last one on Earth. Before I could even react, Kennady was there. Like a superhero, she swooped in, saving the day. With the finesse of a ninja, she retrieved the biscuit and presented it to me as if it were a treasure from the depths of the ocean. In the end, I left the restaurant not just full, but spiritually nourished. My heart was overflowing with gratitude for Kennady, who didn’t just serve me food; she served me a whole experience. In a world full of ordinary servers, Kennady is a shining star—the star of Red Lobster. If you ever find yourself at a Red Lobster and Kennady is your server, know that you are about to embark on the culinary journey of a lifetime. You’ll leave with a full belly and a full heart, knowing that this moment will go down in history as one of the greatest dining experiences of your life. To Kennady, I say: You are a gem. A true legend. A living, breathing,...
Read moreWell get ready folks for yet another five star review from this Google Guide! I want to preface this review with there were no nefarious UFO's, UAP's, formerly known as UFO's, or drones flying around this Red Lobster! I just had to clear the "air" on that topic! Using the term Nefarious seems to be all a "buzz" amongst reporters and officials these days!
I have to set the scene here. I was traveling with my friend 3 hrs from NY into Pennsylvenia, through the seasons first snow storm to visit a medical alergen soecialist!
It was a good visit. My friend Sue and I make a trip like this about once a year or so and we wanted to celebrate the good news. So this was a very special occasion for the two of us and we were not to be dissapointed.
This Red Lobster restaurant located at E. End Center Wilkes Barrre, P.A. had just opened at 4PM and we were early. We were some of the first patrons so there was no line. Sue and I entered into the lobby and I was very deeply concerned, as the Lobster tank in the lobby was completely empty! I (See Pic) I was here specifically on a mission for Surf and Turf and that would not be possible without the surf! I finally was able to communicate my concern to the hostess, as I said "I hope they were just taking the lobsters for a walk or something."
We were seated and greeted immediately by our smiling and very cheerful waitress "Jade" (See Pic) She was a big part of making our one evening of the year, out to dinner very enjoyable! She was on point delivering to our table fresh warm cheddar buns, which I think is a Red Lobster signature appetizer. I think that I eluded to the fact my dinner partner Sue is allergy challenged and that includes food allergies! So I knew she would not be able to partake in the cheddar buns! So I inhaled all six of them! I had On purpose skipped lunch to be able to do something just like that! I must add that disclosing Sue's allergies to Jade didn't faze her at all and she immediately offered up an allergen friendly menu! So yes they have allergen friendly menus.
It was also luckily for me ""happy hour" of which I IMMEDIATLY ordered a 14 Oz Blue Moon beer happily hour priced at 5 bucks. This paired nicely with the cheddar buns I was inhaling.
So to fast forward the vevenings festivities...I did get my surf and Turf a 4oz. Steak Med cooked to perfection by the way, thanks chef! Also a 3oz I think Lobster tail. It was certainly not a Maine lobster tail. but hey it was Lobster! See shrink- flation. In this case less is definately not more. To purchase a Maine Lobster for dinner here you see on the menu it's at 'market price!" So for foodies thats code for I've learned through life if you need to ask how much it is..... you can't afford it!
My dinner partner ordered A couple of Skewers of shrimp. I think they were grilled. She also ordered Sea scallops wrapped in bacon. The scallops were the size of 50cent pieces if not larger, and looked quite delicious!
There was a slight discrepancy in the price of Sue's meal when it came time to care if our bill, and Jade got right on rectifying the error and was back in no time.
I want to personally thank Red Lobster and Their staff, especially Jade our waitress, for creating a special dining experience, that not only met but exceeded this diners expectations.
Thank You to you...
Read moreLet me start with: I understand that things get very busy. Especially during Lent season as I myself have worked at a seafood restaurant before. However, my latest experience at this Red Lobster was highly disappointing and the only reason I did not give it 1 star was because I understand that it was busy.
I had placed a TO GO order online for pickup in the restaurant at 6 pm (my first time I tried this but I did not want to eat in the restaurant because I am uncomfortable with the pandemic). I arrived at the restaurant roughly 5:50 pm- and it was busy (again I understood). I stood in line at the front desk and said I was here for pick up once it was my turn. The host motioned for me to go stand at the TO GO order area by the bar. I went and stood (I was the 1st person there). The bartenders saw me, and several servers saw me, but literally not a single person addressed me. 10 minutes past and four more people joined the line to pick up food. Still NO ONE would address us. They all avoided eye contact. I finally asked one of the bartenders if someone could help us because at that point we were waiting for 15 minutes. I am very frustrated and annoyed that it took me speaking up for our presence to be addressed. Forget COVID precautions as we stood in a cramped area as the line stood out the door and STILL no one would give us the time of day. Even while giving us our food, we appeared to be treated more of a burden than a guest.
I want to repeat that I absolutely understand things get busy. However, I also think a "Hey sorry, we are a little busy but someone will be with you in a moment" goes a long way.
This was at the restaurant in...
