I am so upset. I love this store so much BUT I am very aggravated with the customer service. I purchased a skort on a Sunday. I went to put it on Monday morning for work and saw that one side had been cut. I'm not sure if it was cut when the item was un-packaged from the store to put it out for customers but one side is a straight line and the other side was horribly cut. I brought it in the next day and let the girls know. They all agreed that it was cut. I had cut the tags off but had the receipt from when I purchased on my phone. I showed that to the girls as well. She informed me that she could not do anything with it. I could not exchange it, return it, nothing because I no longer had the tags on it. THEN to top it off the girl told me, "we are a small business and we cannot accept an item without a tag because we don't know if you are the one that cut it." Excuse me? Why on earth would I cut a piece of fabric off of something I purchased? I will never buy anything from here again. It's so aggravating that an error on the store's end has now ended up in a piece of clothing that I cannot wear. I understand when a company has a policy in place BUT this was a mistake on the stores end or from the manufacturer where they get these clothes from. Below are two photos, one side is perfectly rounded and the other side looks like someone took a chunk out.

People like myself help support local small businesses. I'm not okay with being accused that I am cutting it and trying to return. Unfortunately, what we loved was too large for our space. They promised to keep looking for us. Subsequent visits proved each person from Brittany to Arjanette to Caitlin were invested in who we are and what we wanted. The waiting came to an end May 31, 2022 with a call from Kristen to say Nia asked her to let us know there were several paintings just arrived we may be interested in seeing!    Read moreVery disappointed. The store doesn't stand behind the quality of their products. I really loved the store and its mission and upon my first visit, purchased a crossbody purse. After 1 month, I noticed the stitching, attaching the zipper strip, was coming undone at the base and on both sides and the zipper was coming away from the purse. I was not able to get to the store for 2 weeks (due to work and proximity to store), which put the purchase out of the 30 day return policy. They would therefore not exchange or return the purse and said it was "normal wear and tear"? After a month when it's not even used every day? The owner should be sending it back to the manufacturer and getting their money back for it being defective! I also asked the young lady to leave my information for the manager, since I knew it wasn't her decision to make, and never heard back. Not the way to keep customers...
