Westgate Las Vegas — Local services in Winchester

Love the space of the room and got the view of Sphere and the monorail which is pretty cool. The buffet was great for 30 bucks. They have a huge Sportbook. Theres not really much to do here its away from the strip but there is a monorail I took to MGM. I want to give 5 stars but when we are ready to leave it took us 30 minutes to get hold of somebody just to request a bellhop. They want to charge us 51 dollars for late checkout but we argue with them that we been on hold for a longtime just for a bellhop. This is the 1st time we experience...

Das Hotel ist insgesamt recht in die Jahre gekommen, was man an einigen Stellen merkt. Der Check-in verlief schnell und unkompliziert, was wir als sehr angenehm empfunden haben.

Allerdings wurde uns vor Ort eine Resortgebühr berechnet, über die wir bei der Buchung auf Booking.com nicht informiert wurden – das fanden wir absolut unverschämt und enttäuschend. Solche Gebühren sollten transparent kommuniziert werden.

Das Zimmer war groß und in Ordnung – nichts Besonderes, aber sauber und funktional. Für ein paar Nächte okay.

Wer nach Las Vegas reist, sollte sich bewusst sein, dass dort alles sehr teuer ist – vom Essen über Getränke bis zu Aktivitäten. Das sollte man bei der Planung einrechnen.

Insgesamt ein durchschnittlicher Aufenthalt – mit Verbesserungspotenzial bei der Transparenz.

The hotel is fairly old, and it shows in some areas. However, check-in was fast and smooth, which we appreciated.

Unfortunately, we were charged a resort fee at check-in, which we had not been informed about on Booking.com – this felt unacceptable and misleading. Fees like that should be clearly stated during booking.

The room was large and decent – nothing special, but clean and functional. Fine for a short stay.

If you’re visiting Las Vegas, be prepared: everything is expensive – from food and drinks to entertainment. Budget accordingly.

One of the employees told me the Westgate was on par with Circus Circus. I don’t think I agree but maintenance was pretty slow (20+ hours) to fix the lack of hot water in my shower. The restaurants and amenities outside of the rooms are decent and it’s one of the stops on the Vegas Loop. It needs a makeover stat but I can tell...
