I wanted to get some artwork framed I purchased from my travels around the globe. In my quest to find an experienced framer and support local businesses, I stumbled upon Framemakers in Winder through a Google search. To say I am pleased with the results of the work Carey and Bekah did is the understatement of the year. Their creative design input on making my artwork pop with the matting color and style of the frame completely BLEW me away! My pieces are mesmerizing, and I get lost in a trance staring at them at various times of the day when I am at home. I have longed to give these beautiful art pieces the showcase they deserve, and Carey and Bekah went above and beyond to make that happen. They are two of the friendliest people you will ever meet and so easy to talk to, and of course, Molly, the pup there to greet you as you walk in, is a pleasant bonus (don't forget to give her a rub). So finally, I went in and inquired about what they offered. I was very pleased to learn that the owner is an established artist and has been in the framing business for quite a number of years. I found an old “Lord of the Rings” poster when emptying my mother’s house. It was roughly 6’ x3.5’, and it turned out spectacular! I would have never even attempted using a big box framer for it, and I doubt they would have done it if I tried. So I went to Framemakers, and was thrilled with the result.
