Great local business, gives bass pro shop a real run for their money. Owner is very knowledgable and friendly, sat with me for like an hour just helping me get all the issues and kinks in my reel straightened out as best he could. I am real new to fishing in general and his help was absolutely invaluable, much more helpful than the bass pro staff (not meant in an offensive way, he was just way more knowledgeable it seemed than the people at bass pro shop were). Stock was very impressive, had a very generous sized stock of lures, hooks, terminal tackle, nets, and bait (both live and artificial), way more than I would expect a one off local shop to have. Rod/reel selection was a bit less than what I was expecting from looking at the various pictures taken of the inside of the place that was available online. Still, wasnt that bad for a local shop, especially considering the price it must cost to keep pricey inventory like that in stock. Had a nice selection of monofilament line, especially from the brand Stren. Didnt really see much braided line, that might be because the owner isnt a fan of braided line though. To top it off, the shop is conveniently located outside of Fort Yargo, so not very far to go to test out your new tackle. Also, he has a cat, thats worth like a star all on its own. Seriously though, after my visit, I will be shopping here instead of bass pro shop/academy/walmart etc. as much as I can. This place really deserves your business, and I really wished that I had known of this place before I spent a good chunk of money at...

Lots of stuff, and always has stuff you need in stock. Friendly folks, though price is a bit to be desired but you generally know what you're getting yourself into when shopping at smaller places like this.

Very fair with their minnow pricing and are easily listed on the board to be perused so theres no sticker shock to be had. Has some of the BEST live bait variety around. Even people fishing at Lake Lanier come to this guy for thier minnow needs.

If I had to leave some sort of constructive criticism, exiting and entering the place is quite a nuisance to get out from but can't be helped now with its prime location but road traffic be like...

Awesome place! They were closing and I called and he was so nice and said they were closing in 15 minutes but to come on and I got ready quickly and drove straight there and when I got there they welcomed me in with a smile. He asked me what I needed and I told him I recently got an Axolotl and he asked me what size and I told him and he recommended what type of worm I should get and gave me a deal and great price and had good conversation about the Axolotls he gets in the summer and rang me up and thanked me for coming and I thanked him for staying open for me and advice and hooking me up.
