I recently visited Pitara Indian Restaurant in Yerevan, and it was truly an outstanding dining experience from start to finish. As an Indian traveler, I was craving authentic flavors from home—and Pitara delivered far beyond my expectations.
The interior is beautifully done—tasteful, cozy, and inviting. It strikes the perfect balance between modern elegance and traditional Indian charm, making it ideal for a relaxed dinner or a special night out.
We ordered Vegetable Pakora, Pav Bhaji, Dal Makhni, and Jeera Rice—and every dish was absolutely delicious.
The vegetable pakoras were crispy and fresh, with just the right amount of spice.
The Pav Bhaji was rich, flavorful, and served with buttery, perfectly toasted buns—just like you'd get in Mumbai.
The Dal Makhni was creamy and comforting, slow-cooked to perfection, and paired wonderfully with the fragrant Jeera Rice.
The portion sizes were generous, the presentation was lovely, and the flavors were spot on—authentic, well-balanced, and clearly made with care.
The staff was warm and attentive, happy to answer questions and ensure we were comfortable throughout the meal. Their hospitality added a personal touch to the experience.
I wholeheartedly recommend Pitara to anyone looking for real Indian food in Yerevan. Whether you're an Indian missing home-cooked meals or someone curious to try flavorful, vegetarian-friendly Indian cuisine—this place is a must-visit. I’m already looking forward to...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant with high hopes as we were craving Indian food after spending a few days in Yerevan. We heard that the restaurant was recently open so we were having high hopes. We ordered Kadhai paneer and garlic naan which were both floating in oil. The taste was quite average. We have seen square shaped panner in an Indian dish for the first time. It seems the chef did even put the efforts to cut it. The quantity of kadhai paneer was very less for 2 people. The price of any dish did not match up to the taste or quantity. The servers didn't seem trained as one of us was not even given a plate and had to pull it from a vacant seating on my own. They didn't ask if we wanted the dishes served. Ambience was good. Highly disappointment and we do not reccomend...
Read moreWe visited Pitara after hearing great things, and it did not disappoint. The restaurant feels fresh and trendy, but still has a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff greeted us with smiles and explained the menu patiently. The food itself was outstanding flavorful, and beautifully presented. The bar is also well-stocked, and the lassi was one of the best I’ve had outside of India. Prices are higher than some other Indian spots in town, but rightfully so, as the quality and atmosphere make it worthwhile. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for a memorable Indian dining...
