This is my second time here, and I'm not sure what changed, but it's noticeable enough for me to leave a review.

When we walked in, the restaurant was not that busy. Despite the many open tables, we were herded into a secluded part of the restaurant by the bakery where it was very hot. The hostess did not ask us where we would like to be seated, which one would expect, considering it was not that busy.

Despite asking to move, the hostess offered to move us to the table next to us yet in the same section. We had to expressly indicate we wished to move to the other side of the restaurant. It was like pulling teeth before we were moved.

The servers were nice, but the host staff is terrible and pretentious. They seemingly typecast clientele they perceive as sufficiently bourgeois to be deserving of sitting in the main section.

When we left, another hostess (not the one who initially sat us) thanked us and wished us well on our way out, and we in turn. Right at that moment, the apparent floor manager turned to her, snidely and dismissively said to her, "Why did you thank them?" This rude and unprofessional conduct starts from the top and imbues itself all around and down to the host staff.

While the food was good, it's nothing you can't get anywhere else. If that's the kind of service you're going to be met with, save your money and time and go somewhere else.
