Fumo Blu — Restaurant in Adelaide

Came in last night with a group of 10, stayed from 10:20pm-11:45pm hoping to stay and have our night here, everyone was buying drinks and having a good time when at 11:45pm security and staff are coming up to us saying they close in 5 minutes? Yet online it says open until 2am/3am they kicked out at least twenty people from the bar saying times up everyone go home, how disappointing, terrible service on how they told us also, with torches and rude security coming up to everyone, could’ve been done much nicer, by 11:30pm people where packing up chairs etc. we would’ve stayed all night until close buying shots and cocktails and double drinks, but unfortunately Fumo Blu’s is not a party place, won’t come back for future parties and functions now I know they close whenever they feel early on in the night, I can’t see this place lasting very much longer if they can’t afford to stay open for a few hours....

Nah, for real though it is a great place.

Entertainment is the main draw with old cartoons like Ren and Stimpy are shown at the bar, free game consoles and a kortal combat arcade machine for $1 a play are set up, there are also screens around with wierd adult swim cartoons set up.

They also have amazing (and often sweet) cocktails expertly made, great customer service and even good food. The music is also really good and even with all the nerd stuff it still seems like a good club/bar.

Would highly recommend giving it a go with a medium to large group, it is a great time.

Also take it from me and try the nachos, they are great and there is more of them then you would...

Havent been to Fumo Blu in years!! It used to be the place you would go for starter cocktails then go out somewhere else to dance. We went in thinking we would have a few cocktails then merrily be on our way.... That wasn't the case. We had some beautiful cocktails, sat in the booths, then the music started. This Friday night, the DJ was playing some great songs, next minute people started dancing, next minute we started dancing! We were there for hours! What a great way to start and end the night. Staff were awesome, and the music was great. (we could even request songs) For someone that hasn't been out dancing since covid... This was a great...
