After moving to another city, I haven’t been able to find anything quite like my favorite dishes from Lenox. I honestly can’t wait to go back to Adelaide just to eat there again! The zucchini corn fritters are the most delicious—I still think about them. There’s such a great variety of flavors in this dish: crispy fritters, natural sweetness from the corn, a touch of sourness from the sauce and tomatoes, saltiness from the fritters and halloumi, and a creamy richness from the poached eggs and avocado. It’s perfectly balanced and incredibly satisfying. The açaí bowl is also a favorite for both me and my husband. It’s refreshing and not too sweet—just right. Another standout is the “I Can See Your Halo”—a halloumi sandwich that’s so good, I even remembered the name! My husband really liked it too. And of course, he also loved the burger from Lenox. Flavorful and juicy beef—definitely one of his top picks.

Food: - Staff had no idea about the products or what they were serving. For example, we were offered chocolate fondue but received a microwaved brownie (likely a lava cake at some point). - Savoury food: portions were small and very average in flavour. Drinks: -Even though we ordered the same drinks, the glasses and drinks looked different! -When we asked about it, the staff laughed and joked that we were too picky, saying the drinks should taste the same regardless. Bill: The bill was questionable! Most items were listed as "Assorted item," and even though we ordered similar drinks, the prices varied ($0.50 - $2.00 each). Since we ordered over 20 items, it was impossible to verify the bill as we were in a rush. PS: Avoid booking outdoor tables on sunny days. There is very little shade, and the noise from the street is quite disruptive.

I really appreciate a breakfast menu available til 3pm. The pancakes were not what I expected. They were more like traditional homemade pancakes, not like the thicker/fluffier pancakes/hotcakes in most places. The taste was good but a little oily, like they’d been fried, and had a very rustic presentation. Coffee was potently strong but okay. It wasn’t super busy but service was a little slow for lunch on a week day. Having said that, the server was polite and checked everything was ok. Be aware of sitting too close to the counter as the blender is pretty loud. I’d go back but probably for lunch/ dinner which might have their more signature dishes.

I recently visited Lenox Avenue on Rundle Street, and wow—what an experience!

From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the tone for a perfect evening. The interior strikes a perfect balance between modern elegance and cozy charm, with soft lighting, stylish decor, and a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re on a date night or catching up with friends, it feels like just the right place to unwind and indulge.

But let me get to the real highlight—the service. It’s been so long since I’ve received genuinely good service that I’d almost forgotten what it felt like. The staff at Lenox Avenue went above and beyond, with an attentiveness and friendliness that felt refreshingly genuine. They struck that perfect balance of being engaging and fun while also giving us space to enjoy our meal. It’s rare to feel truly cared for at a restaurant, and this was definitely a unique experience.

Now, the food. Honestly, to die for. We ordered the poppers, lamb shank, pork belly, and a sando for good measure, and every single dish was outstanding. The flavours were off the charts—each bite felt like a little moment of joy. The chefs at Lenox Avenue clearly know their stuff, delivering plates that are as beautiful as they are delicious.

And just for a bit of fun, I ordered the mystery wine. It’s such a cool concept—adding a little playful twist to the dining experience—and I loved it.

Overall, Lenox Avenue delivers on every front: atmosphere, service, food, and those little touches that make a night out feel special. I can’t...

Friends in Adelaide - there is a small cafe in Blackwood called Lenox Avenue. It is one of the friendliest cafes anywhere, with some of the best food in South Australia. While you could take the Belair train, get off at the Coromandel Stop and take a short walk up the hill to Lenox Avenue Blackwood, NOW you have an alternative.

Lenox Avenue Rundle Street opened just last week. You won't be disappointed. We didn't even look at the menu as the owner suggested a chicken and rice special that he has been eating every day during the final construction of the space. We were not disappointed and hope that the special makes it onto the menu.

The space is big with much room for expansion, and there are tables available on the sidewalk. People were eating outside even though it's still a bit chilly, but I expect as it warms up it will be a great place to eat and watch the world go by.

Lenox Avenue Rundle Street is a short walk from the mall, the Botanic Garden tram stop and the East end of the CBD. Check it out, and...

Great place to dine for brunch or lunch. Range of reasonably-priced meals served with care. Many meal and drink options for vegetarians and vegans. Licensed. Great value and something sure to please all patrons, including a kids' menu.

Attentive service. On a quiet Sunday morning, we were so pleased to see the manager sit down with a man who was sitting by himself and keep him company by having a pleasant chat.

A couple dined with their little daughter, who was getting a bit fussy, so her dad took her for a walk around the diner to look at all the interesting items on the walls and on the counter. The toddler cheered right up and stopped grizzling as soon as she patted the "puppy" -- a statuette of a bulldog on the counter. The staff were lovely with this family and chatted to the little girl to put her at ease.

The restaurant's amenities are spotless and easily accessible and suitable for ambulant users.

We were so impressed by the meal and service that we immediately booked for the same time the...
