We have been coming to this store for years but haven’t been for a while. We were waiting to order. Three staff members. One was serving, one spent 10 minutes filling a container with gelato, very slow and didn’t seem to be concerned about the growing line of customers. The third staff member was cleaning the trays. He wiped the inside of a tray that still contained gelato with a cloth, then proceeded to clean the dirty parts of the fridge, then soaked the cloth in the dirty dishwater sink and then continued cleaning the empty part of the trays that still contained gelato and placed them back for display and sale to customers. Every food safety rule was broken. We decided not to buy. Also noticed that the prices have increased which is understandable but the serves have decreased substantially. One serve barely sat above the top of the cone. We used to get great serves. Staff were not friendly or smiling. Very disappointing. Will not...

Ice cream is delicious and location is great. The pricing is not clear and the serves are unequal. Visited with my family and purchased a medium (2 scoop/flavour) combo for my daughter. She chose salted caramel and chocolate fudge. I expected it to cost $8.30 but it was $9.50. While we were waiting to be served I read the prices and it is not clear that ‘deluxe’ which costs .60 cents means the deluxe flavour ice creams (and an additional 60 cents per scoop). I assumed it meant the addition of cream or topping. When I asked for the two flavours, the server did not mention that this would add $1.20 to the price of the ice cream. When he served the second scoop, the ice cream was so hard he was adding ice cream to the cone a teaspoon at a time. We ended up with about half a scoop. My other daughter bought the same size and got literally double the amount of ice cream....

Very good gelato on the Rudle street mall in Adelaide. After a long hot walk about through the Botanical Gardens we headed to the Rundle street mall to do some shopping. We came upon Gelatissimo and decided to indulge in a cold sweet gelato. I always order Pistachio to compare from one location to another. The Pistachio here was good, but not great. The passion fruit was very good however. The gelato is made on premises and they offer gelato on waffles and in doughnuts. The only negative was they do not have enough staff to handle the line up. One person is not enough. i did see two other people behind the coolers. However, rather than step up and serve waiting customers, they did not. Still, definitely worth a visit if you're in the Rundel Mall area. I went back twice and tried the Mango on the second visit. It was very good.

Some great flavours that you don't find elsewhere. I had 1 scoop of Indulgent Italian Rocher & 1 scoop of Pistachio. My daughter had 1 scoop of Choc Honeycomb & 1 scoop of Cookie (kitkat) Crumble. There are also many interesting combination of flavours. You can look them up on their website. If you want to experience something different, this is the place to go. I went there with my 11 yo daughter & she agreed with me when I said it's way better than 48 flavours. That's if you're more into quality vs quantity of flavours. The lady serving was lovely to deal with. The decor...not really charming. It wasn't really feel good atmosphere but the gelatos made up for it. PS: I took picture after I started eating all the bits, it looked better than that originally.
