Nano Cafe is colourful and friendly, hidden in one of Adelaides red brick historical alleyways. Outdoor seating is well sheltered and atmospheric, quiet being off the main road. Food is stunning, fresh, and incredibly reasonably priced for being in the city. Even though we were only here 4 days we came here twice as it really is a wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

I’ve been coming to Nano Cafe for over 10 years, and it never disappoints! The friendly service and consistently good coffee keep me coming back. The food is always great tasting, whether you’re in the mood for breakfast, lunch, or a sweet snack. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a perfect spot for people watching. Highly recommended!

Nice cozy place for a quick morning breakfast. I had a fresh scrambled eggs and toast, which was tasty. They accommodated my special request that wasn’t on menu so it was very nice. Also there was a mistake on the price charged but staff was nice in noticing and returning the money.

I care deeply about the holistic, aesthetic, cafe experience. I like cafes MOST when it seems like management didn't try too hard to force atmosphere, because the atmosphere was already there. Nano's, is perfect. The vibe - the calm but eclectic sense of welcome - without a doubt makes this my favourite cafe in all of Adelaide. The coffee is SO good and SO cheap, but the FOOD, MY GOD THE FOOD IS SO JOYOUS. The focaccia's taste genuine, the pizza is insanely rich with flavour and even the ham croissants bring a smile to my face. I come here, have a large coffee and a solid feed and have never spent over $20. I sit, I read, I people-watch and it is always the perfect atmosphere to do any of those things. In summer, this place feels straight out of Call Me By Your Name. In winter, this place feels like the best European coffee shop on the planet. My only qualm, and there is truly ONLY ONE - is that they don't serve their delicious freshly squeezed orange juice with ice. Add ice, and I would never leave in summer.

Thank you Nano's for being the best cafe...

Had lunch here on a very quiet Wednesday afternoon. They brought my Mums soup out without my dish- I waited for 10-15mins before asking where it was. Obviously hadn’t even put it on the grill. The waitress brought it over, slapped it down & off she went, I asked for cutlery twice in that time without a response (should be a no brainer for a waitress) She comes back throws the cutlery down and remarks on working in Hospitality and heard what I asked for, so I asked her -Why didn’t you acknowledge me then? No response she was back inside in a flash - there was no “I’m sorry would you like anything else” etc. She was a very rude girl with a bad attitude. I was a patron in your restaurant who’s lunch was forgotten about and I’m the one to get spoken badly too? Ah yeah maybe the owners can rethink...

Everything about this place is superb. The location in the CBD is perfect for the area set amongst the side streets off Rundle Street already gives it boutique atmosphere. The greeting and service is impeccable professional and friendly with ever customer. Attentive and always accomadating. The food and coffee is delicious. Breakfast was unbelievable. The way the crossiant is cooked as open grill is genius, allowing a perfect melt of the cheese. Really recommend this...
