Frog's Hollow Saloon — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Horrible experience. Made a booking for 18 people for a joint 19th birthday party, in which everything was confirmed online and via email. While I was aware it was a 'casual' booking where an appropriate amount of seats would be provided for who showed up, I was still assured that there would be seats and tables provided for this amount of people between 7-9pm. When I arrived at 7, all 18 people in tow, there were a total of two very small round tables and 6 bar stools provided for the group. I went to the bar and asked a staff member if this was all that was provided and explained to him how I had booked and was assured of chairs for everybody. His response was that 'unfortunately we do not have enough seats at the moment' (meanwhile I was standing in front of at least 5 vacant bar stools). He told me I was welcome to drag them over to my very tiny two tables meant for 18 people, I was visibly upset as the night that everyone had been looking forward to was taking a bad turn and he could not care less, going as far as to roll his eyes and scoff at me as I walked away. The eloquent young man Harrison at the front door tonight was absolutely exceptional. His customer service and assistance was welcoming and insightful all whilst doing his job with passion. Mind you I was not a customer at this establishment, I was merely walking past just after 10 when he greeted me with a smile and how you doing. He then proceeded to compliment me and promote the business by upselling the company products in detail.

Harrison’s service was above the average standard and I strongly recommend you commend him on his work. He not only made my night be also made my partners night with his kind and caring nature.

Their friendly demeanour and expertise in mixing cocktails make every visit delightful. Speaking of cocktails, they’re top-notch – creative, flavourful, and beautifully presented.

I recently hosted my husband's 40th birthday here, and it exceeded all expectations. Everything ran smoothly, thanks to the attentive staff who were communicative through the organising process to the night itself. I highly recommend Frog's Hollow Saloon.
