Rating 1-5 Food: 3 Presentation: 5 Ambience: 5 Service: 4 Price: 5 Date and time of visit: Multiple visits Latest 12 June 2021, 7pm We love ramen so we are always on the hunt for good ramen places in town. Food: Tonkotso deluxe - Good. I would have wanted a creamier soup base. Hot chilli tonkotso- Not really spicy. Black garlic tonkotso - The bomb! This ramen is so good we had to stop ourselves from getting a 2nd serving. Wagyu - Some people are raving about it but it's lacking in flavour for us. BE CONSISTENT: 1. Ajitsuke tamago not consistent in flavour and was overcooked in some occasion. 2. Been here 4x and in all of those times, the noodles were not properly cooked. I always see clumps of noodles. Extra stirring or additional 30secs in hot water should solve this issue. The next table to us also complained about the same issue. 3. The young lady (long hair) taking orders is not welcoming. I don't think I've seen her smile. 4. Gyoza - my first order was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of filling. The second time was a different story. The gyoza were too small with less than a teaspoon of filling and they were overcooked.

a cosy little ramen shop hidden within the city!! friendly staff and quite a clean restaurant~ ordered two ramens, forgot the name of one but it is the original ramen but with added egg and mushrooms (ramen number 2 on the menu) broth was insaaaneeee!!! compared to other ramen shops this has to be my favorite broth!!! not to salty not too bland, flavour some but not overwhelming!!! incredible!!! so so good!!! downside of our experience and what brought it down to 4 stars would be the wagyu beef large ramen, it was $29 beef was lovely, fresh and grilled really nicely definitely a quality cut of beef!! but for $29 you get a tiny amount of beef and, supposedly you get more noodles in the large portion but it wasn’t really much more than what i got in my original ramen the noodles are also different to the other ramen dishes on the menu, for the wagyu ramen the noodles are whole grain which make the flavour a bit odd as well will come back for the original ramen for sure!!! but disappointed by the wagyu ramen, with that price we could have gotten two bowls of original ramen🤧🤧 overall a lovely restaurant though!!

Saw lots of great reviews from the Brisbane Ramen Lovers Club Facebook page and did not disappoint! Had to wait for a table to accommodate our group of 4 but it wasn't a long wait. We waited maybe 10 minutes for our food which came out hot and fresh. Compared to one of my favourite ramen places in Brisbane, the flavours and value for money is really good. We had the Tonkotsu Chashu ramen. The broth was a good creamy texture, not too salty. Pork was charred and fell apart nicely. Loved the Funghi topping, however, the egg was a bit overcooked and the noodles were a bit too thin for my preference but cooked well. Loved the karaage and the sauce it came with (Mayo and some other sauce I'm not sure what it was). Tried their desserts too and they were oishī! They make them in house each morning. Definitely taste fresh. The souffle cheesecake was light and slightly cheesy; strawberry puff was still light and crispy but filled with a yummy custard and cream. Will definitely be back next time I'm around the city to try their Black Garlic Tonkotsu ramen and another dessert.

Beppin is a Japanese restaurant located in the heart of Brisbane's CBD, offering a unique and authentic dining experience. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Beppin and was impressed by the quality of the food and the level of service provided.

As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by the staff and shown to our table. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and intimate, with dim lighting and traditional Japanese decor. The menu was extensive, offering a variety of traditional Japanese dishes such as sushi, sashimi, tempura, and ramen.

We started off with a plate of edamame and some agedashi tofu, which were both delicious and perfectly cooked. For our mains, we decided to share a plate of sushi and a bowl of ramen. The sushi was incredibly fresh and melt-in-your-mouth, and the ramen was packed with flavor and had the perfect amount of spice.

One thing that really stood out to me was the level of attention to detail in the presentation of each dish. Each plate was beautifully arranged with vibrant colors and intricate designs, making the dining experience feel truly special.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Beppin and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Japanese cuisine in Brisbane. The food was exceptional, the service was attentive, and the ambiance of the restaurant was perfect for a romantic date night or a night out...

Beppin is an absolute delight for ramen lovers! The service here is nothing short of excellent—friendly, attentive, and efficient. The staff make you feel welcome from the moment you step through the door, and their commitment to ensuring a great dining experience really shines.

The food is absolutely lovely. The ramen is rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. One of the highlights of dining at Beppin is watching the chefs work their magic in the open kitchen. Seeing the ramen being freshly prepared adds an exciting touch to the experience, and the aroma alone is enough to make your mouth water. On top of that, the price is excellent for what they offer. A $1 increase to any ramen from a 135ml to a 200ml portion!

Even better, the wait time is impressively short. Your bowl of deliciousness arrives at your table within 10 minutes, piping hot and ready to enjoy. It’s perfect for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner with friends.

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great place to unwind and savor some truly fantastic ramen. Beppin has quickly become one of my favorite spots, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re a fan of great service, fresh food, and a warm ambiance, this is the...

I arrived with a group of 4 people total, arrived at 815 and ordered at 822pm. We were then told 10 minutes later that they only had enough rice for one bowl, and were told to order something else and told to pay the difference for a new order despite it being their fault. We ordered an additional serve of karrage and gyoza. The vegetarian rice bowl came out and was fine. One gyoza serve arrived and was mushy and doughy and the pork inside was bright pink and raw. We waited for a server to arrive to ask missing item s however ended up needing to flag someone down and inform then the gyoza were raw and the missing items .our serve of edamame had random strewn throughout and had no salt. A serve of the karrage arrived and we then waited another 25 minutes and the rest of our order did not arrive despite reminding staff. We proceeded to leave and ask for a refund and it took 15 minutes as the staff member ‘assisting’ me, needed me to point out everything despite me being able to provide the order time and the exact order. Absolutely horrible experience with no apologies from staff. Do not recommend, much better places where they don’t run out of rice at 8pm on a Saturday. It ruined my...
