We stayed in the apartments above the cafe.. I went downstairs to order breakfast in the morning for the three of us I ordered the coffee sourdough with avocado and mushrooms the other was sourdough with avocado and a hash brown any other was a doughnut and banana bread... Now where do I start the coffees were good and that is where it finished the sourdough was so soggy the avocado was Brown mushrooms for an extra $8 would fit on a 50 cent piece and they were stone cold disgraceful again the other sourdough breakfast with avocado same as above with a hash brown was so thin it was like a single playing card it was like eating a piece of cardboard the doughnut I took one bite and threw the rest my friend who had the banana bread ...again one bite and threw the rest.. at a cost of 56 dollars I returned the breakfast to them but unfortunately the boss wasn't there only the barista.. never ever again the owner should be ashamed...

Service was excellent. So was the coffee! The food was delicious and the price was great. My only little bit of feedback is go to Kmart and spend $20 on a deep fryer as the hash browns were a let down.

Other ideas as well. Buy that little terrarium store next door to you and turn it into some sort of dining room, it suites your cafes vibe.

Big ups to the young lady working the espresso machine this morning💪 it must be very stressful making coffees right there on the counter people are wanting to get served at.

To combat this you can move the cups ect. To another shelf. you can then move the eftpos machine to on top of the display fridge, this allows the young lady to make /serve coffees while you sir don’t have to reach over for the eftpos machine every time someone orders.

Hope you guys like my feedback and don’t forget I still have 5 stars as what I came there for (coffee and food)...

This place is not even worth 1 star. Do not waste your money, time or energy on this place!

Service: We were served by a rude and obnoxious man, who seemed to be the owner/manager. The manner in which he spoke to my friend and I was like we were children at school being reprimanded. Even the way he spoke to the girl making coffees was unpleasant, i felt sorry for her, it seemed that she copped his same abusive behaviour all day.

Food: Burnt bread that seemed like it had been sitting under a heater for an hour. Poached eggs that were hard as rocks presumably from sitting in the hot water for just as long. Slices of butter that were as hard as ice from the freezer. Not even enough salt and pepper to pinch up into your fingers, it was purely for decoration.

Atmosphere: Absolutely none.

We originally had invited others to join us, but told them not to bother coming, after such a...

Popped in this morning a quick coffee and bacon and eggs (no toast by my choice); strongly recommend. Honestly the nicest and most accurate comment I can make about this coffee shop was that the staff clearly knew the customers by name, knew their orders in advance, and the shop promptly filled at opening. Honestly, such great service was a pleasure to overhear. Coffee was sensational too. A strong recommend from me!

Food is quite delicious and the staff is very nice and friendly. Just a little on the pricey side in my opinion. There was not a lot of egg in my scrambled meal, and a side of the oven roasted tomato was $4, but as you can see it was just one small/medium sized tomato that was cut into four pieces. Other than that, the food tasted good and service was great.

We came here 5:30am on a Saturday morning after watching the sunrise at Mt Coot-Tha. It was the only place in the area that opened that early. We had Berry Pancakes with Bacon as well as Eggs Benedict with Ham and have got to say that it was excellent! The customer service is super friendly too. Needless to say we will be back!
