I had an absolutely terrible experience at this store with my friends.
Around 7:30 to 7:40 PM on a Friday evening, we were seated at a small, crowded table. While I was looking at the menu on the ordering app, the woman from the couple sitting next to us suddenly spilled a cup of freshly served hot coffee all over my right leg. The pain was immediate and intenseāI was in shock. The couple looked startled and asked if I was okay and said "sorry," but I told them I was not okay because it was too hot. Then I rushed to the restroom with my friend.
In the restroom, I realized I had suffered a burn injury. My friend quickly returned to the store, bought burn cream, and gave me emergency treatment.
When we returned to the table, the couple had already left. There was no follow-up, no proper apology, and they left without leaving any contact information. They just ran away.
How is this acceptable?
Meanwhile, the staff were too busy clearing tables and completely ignored the fact that a customer had just suffered a burn. I was shocked that in a large franchise store, someone could cause this kind of injury and just walk away without anyone stopping them. Isn't customer safety supposed to be a top priority?
The store manager took my contact details and said they had identified the couple and would report it to higher management. I was told I would be contacted later that day, but I have received no follow-up whatsoever.
I hope the couple responsible for this incident reads this review. Even if it was a mistake, if you hurt someone, you should check on them and offer a sincere apology. Even if you were in a hurry, you should have left your contact information and followed up to see if the person was okay. That is the bare minimum of human decency.
I plan to formally request CCTV footage from the store, and if necessary, I will post the video and full incident details on my social media. (Iāve already confirmed with the police that this is not illegal.)
Customers deserve to feel safe and cared for. This experience was deeply...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOnly rating one star because the coffee was good, but this place deserves a zero. The girl that served me at 4pm, Sunday 3 September, 2023 needs to completely reundergo training or find somewhere else to work.
This girl was very adversarial right from the get go. No smile. She was very rude. Seemed to struggle to understand me (I don't have an accent or anything, I'm Australian). I was very clear in what I wanted to order. I was hoping the other staff around her would have stepped in, instead I went back and forth with this girl asking for an artificial sweetener in my coffee. She didn't understand what I was asking for, kept pointing to the beans at the front, the cycling through the different sugars before settling on the sweetener.
My wife and I left here completely perplexed over what had happened. Maybe she was having a bad day? It would have been better if she called in sick instead.
I won't be back. There is a Starbucks just down the road with way better...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe service from the female front desk staff between 12:30 and 13:00 on September 15 was extremely disappointing. I showed her a photo of my previous order, indicating that I wanted the exact same thing. However, she took it upon herself to change the order to "SW br" instead of the 3x pumps of Brown Sugar Syrup that I had requested. After placing the order, I noticed the items on the machine didnāt match the photo, so I politely double-checked and apologized, confirming that I wanted the 3x pumps of Brown Sugar Syrup. She responded impatiently, saying, "I know, I already added it." When I finally received the drink, it tasted awfulācompletely unsweetened and nothing like what I ordered. I hope staff training can be strengthened to ensure that they do not make arbitrary changes to orders and adhere to...
