Steamtrain Espresso Bar and Kitchen — Restaurant in Brisbane City

As i sit here sipping my coffee all i can think is, what a great experience! The staff, the food, the coffee and the atmosphere is on point. I sit up stairs looking out the front and can see the staff to customer interactions. Every customers is greeted nicely, served quickly, and have little wait at all to get coffee. Every customer walked out happy with a warm brew. Im having the Big breakfast which is perfect. Unlike most places that have the set menu, here you can choose what 3 sides you want with your delicious eggs. Presentation on my plate is well crafted, eggs are perfect , bacon crispy, hash browns are golden and mushrooms flavoursome. I 100% recommend everyone to come and enjoy. Unsure who owns this place but your staff is amazing and worth every penny! I should really get going but now I'll stay for a second coffee and continue to enjoy the wonderful Steam Train...

I’ve had the privilege to work here for a couple of months and got to witness the level of care, creativity and detail put in every dish, coffee and service.

It’s always lovely to see the community of customers that have been built over the years. Seeing the same familiar faces every day! Great people I will miss!

I would personally recommend getting the burgers with chips! Coffee, freshly squeezed juice, or their unique shakes. Cabinet food options are vast and great for a quick takeout if you’re in a hurry.

Nice and clean atmosphere with fast, friendly service. Quaint feel with plenty of different seating options. The upstairs is especially nice with a partial view of the trains coming and going from the station. Very convienient to Wesley Hospital and Auchenflower train station. Mocha coffee tastes good but lacks latte art. The chocolate croissant was disappointing. 1.6% card surcharge is offputting. The clear majority of customers pay by card today so better to just be transparent and display an honest menu price up front and do away with all the silly hidden surcharges that you don't notice unless you ask for a...
